Thanks, I think playing cash might get you a more steady profit than S&G/MTT's but not sure which would be more profitable in the long run.

yea, its not even that i just want to play one. Youve seen me jump from game to game, and I do that because there is aspects of each that improve your game overall. Cash will improve your deepstacked tournament play, while MTTSNGs will get your shoving ranges and calling ranges better which make you better in tournaments that get shalllow near the end.

I like to play all games and each have their benefits to your game overall.

I want to go for SNE in 2011 or 2012 (i think it'll be 2012 tbh) and the only way to for me to do that imo is at cash; so thats why ive been working on my cash game more and more lately

Yeah I think its always good to have a bit of variation as well, playing cash non-stop can become too much of a grind so I play the odd MTT on stars or another site.

A lot of coolers, but what do you think you are ahead of with the AQ hand after he 4 bets? JJ is the very bottom of his range, so you would be flipping at best. Unless you had a certain read.

Kind of had a read on him, I had just sat down and 3bet the first hand and he folded, this was the second hand, so I was half expecting a 4bet light, JJ is definetly not the bottom of his range, he has some complete bluffs and plenty of decent hands that fold, I know the ship is questionable but calling is just bad OOP so it was ship or fold. Tbh, I was a little surprised he snap called with jacks.

Ran good today early on then people hit 2 outer after 2 outer on me it was scary. Played 1568 hands and won $29. Was up over $100.

lol fish playing 85/5, he tanked for ages before calling the river, like he was ever folding.

Played some this morning and lost 2.5 BI's pretty quickly so gave up. Was playing mostly NL25 thankfully. I'm really stuggling the last few days, not playing very well and running bad as well.

Ended the day up $47 and got my rakeback of $61 bringing my total BR to $2,977

I hate it when my blog post thingy doesn't get any responders, so I'm gunna respond to this hand with my noobish 2nl skills.

The c/r seems fine to me. Problem here is when he calls, we need to shut down. The only hand that we can possibly rep here is AA (I doubt you would be raising 22-66 in EP PF) and when he says that he can beat that, we need to end it. If he isn't going to fold to the c/r, then he won't fold to a DB.

i dont like the c/r . its definitely a lead imo.
when u checkraised flop i like barreling turn since its an awesome card for us to rep and we get an openender. its superstandard, and its a good size.
i shove river btw.

Thanks for the feedback guys, the reason I didn't lead was because the guy was floating a lot of hands. Preflop my plan was to double barrel most boards, this wasn't one of them as he most likely has an overpair. So I check, hoping he checks back. When he bets I don't want to fold my pair with a gutshot and I feel the check raise can get him off 77-TT. When he called, (which he still can with any of these hands) I pick up a nice turn card to barrel, when he calls this bet I feel he is very rarely folding the river so I just hope to hit.

I guess a c-bet and DB would have achieved almost the same thing but been cheaper

On the flop I felt his min raise meant he was looking for information with a small PP, so I 3bet to get him to fold 33-55 and maybe up to 99. He flat calls so I am putting him on a hand like 99-JJ or a flush draw. When the turn hits this seems like a great card to barrel so I ship giving him no odds to call with a flush draw and forcing him to fold his PP unless he makes a hero call. Unfortunately the king hit him so he is never folding

Won $67 today playing NL25 rush, I'm just killing that game. Over 16k hands im winning at 16bb/100 which probably isn't sustainable but it's a damn good hourly at 1k hands per hour Total BR over the $3k mark at $3,045. With 4 weeks of the challenge left I feel I can make the $5k if I put in lots of volume at NL25 rush.
