@Jeff
Boston, but was just in NJ for a couple days. My online play is mainly on Ignition with some ACR mixed in. Hope your live game is going well!

Been pretty lazy posting in this thread as per usual, got in a decent amount of hours at 100 and 200NL online last week. Live sessions this week were pretty tame.

Hand One
vs an unknown, curious what people think about river bet. I think most players should be betting Qx in position so I hate my bet since it doesn't allow him to bluff and I don't see him showing up with a lot of 9x here.
Preflop: 5 limps, I check bb with QThh
Flop (60): QT9dd
two checks utg bets 50, btn calls, I call.
Turn (210): Qx
I check, utg bets 70, btn raises 200, I call, utg folds.
River (690): 9x
(btn has ~450 behind I cover) I jam, btn folds.
Hand Two
vs one of the top regs in the 5/10 game. Had been opening and getting 3b a lot this session. Weaker player 3b him previously and showed down Q6o. 1k effective stacks
Preflop: one limp, mp opens to 40, I 3b A9cc from btn to 125, folds to mp who gives a quick speech about how he won't be bullied anymore this session and then 4b to 320, I jam, he snap calls.
I chop vs A6dd.
Hand Three
Preflop: utg opens 35 (villain from above hand) utg+1 3b to 110 (player that has 3b and shown down Q6o) utg +2 4b to 350 (another top reg in the game), I fold JJ in mp.
Pretty sure this is a fold but villain could be 4b pretty light, don't know if I hate a jam here. 1k effective stacks

Goals for March
-Final table an event during Foxwoods' next series
-Play 140 hours
-10k profit
-Finish a book (Currently reading Blink)
-Golf and play well (first round out this year was a disaster)
-Post a minimum of one time every 2 days (starting now)
Always happy with a profitable month, but was a little disappointed with the volume I put in. I tend to take a couple days off whenever my girlfriend (teacher) is on a school break because I'd rather be with her than at the poker table. I do think I should be able to get in more online hours even during her days off than I have in the past. Hope everyone has a good March!

in regards to A9 vs A6 chop, it was a very abnormal hand and baffled me. Very strange play from this guy but everyone makes mistakes.

Played 2 day ones in the Foxwoods $600 and went 0/2, think I played pretty well overall just couldn't get anything going late each day. Had a fun hand in the second level where I 3.5x KK from the CO with one limper and the BB jammed 150 bigs with 47dd.

Didn't achieve any of the goals I set for March. Didn't study or focus on any poker related things when off the table or even finish reading Blink. Not really sure how many hours I'm going to get in this month because I'll most likely be taking a week off in the middle of the month but when I am playing I want to be playing my A game.

It's always nice to start the month with a solid session. Had a crazy soft table today with a lot of people limp calling 7x opens with almost atc. One fun hand from the session:
Stacks and reads:
Hero (MP): ~2000
BB: 1000, just topped off after losing aipf for 500 with AA vs JQo. Visibly tilted, earlier in the session raised 5 limps to 220 and took down the blinds
There's a straddle and I open AQo to 60 from MP, 4 callers and the BB (1k) is about to throw in his call as well when the straddle puts out 250. Dealer pushes the 250 back to the straddle because it's not his action yet and BB decides to raise to 440 (he's well aware this 250 is binding if he just calls the 60). Straddle tanks and eventually folds. I don't see why he's not just flatting the 60 if he has a strong hand (or even with his bluffs) then rejamming when the action gets back to him so at this point I think he's completely full of ****. I jam 1k (cover rest of players behind). CO puts his 400 stack in the middle and straddle calls it off.
Board runs out K557Qccc and mhig vs CO 99 and BB's mucked cards.

Two hands from today's session:
HAND ONE
Btn: very solid reg, high 3b% pre, very good at applying pressure in the right spots 1k
Utg+1: Rec player, sees a lot of flops and not afraid to get it in with draws. 700
Preflop:
2 limps, Hero raises 60 from hj w KK, btn thinks for a little while before flatting, utg+1 calls
Flop (205): 883dd
Utg+1 leads 85, hero flats, btn makes it 260, utg+1 ships 700, i tank call, btn folds
(Utg+1 is very capable of shipping 44+ and all his flush draws. Both players have some 8x in their range but many more hands that I beat.)
Turn and river are bricks and mhig vs 77
HAND TWO
sb: btn from the above hand, ~1k
Mp: reg, ~1500
Btn: hero, covers
Preflop:
Mp opens to 35, one caller, I call from btn with 57cc, sb calls
Flop (150): T34ccc
Sb checks, mp bets 100, hero flats, sb flats
Turn (450): Qx
Sb leads 280, mp folds, hero flats
River (1010): Tx
Sb leads 480, hero folds
Not sure how I feel about my fold here. Feel like he shows up with a higher flush a good percentage of the time, could also have 33, 44 or QcTx. I beat all of his AcX combos but other than that I don't think he's getting out of line with complete air here.

April is off to a great start and it's finally golf weather! Played my second round of the year today and still getting the rust off. Probably one more round and a range session away from being back to my normal self.
Two folds from last month, one I'm sure is an easy fold, the other maybe should've been a call.
Fold #1
Utg+2: bluffy young asian reg
sb: quiet young 2/5 player, has been playing a decent amount of 5/10 lately, haven't seen him get out of line
1k eff stacks
Preflop:
Utg+2 opens 35, hj calls, hero calls co with 55, btn calls, sb calls
Flop (185): TT9hh
checks around
Turn (185): 5x
utg+2 bets 110, hero calls, sb calls
River (515): 7x
utg+2 bets 275, hero calls, sb ships, utg+2 folds, hero folds
I have a really hard time thinking that this particular player would be getting out of line in a spot like this. I realize I "can't" have a nutted hand in this spot but still seems like an awful spot to bluff.
Fold #2
utg+1: tighter lawyer reg, has had some sessions with really high 3b%
co: older reg, has some random spaz, doesn't like to fold
1k eff stacks
Preflop:
Hero limps 44 utg, utg+1 opens to 60, co calls, hero calls
Flop (195): K45dds
checks around
Turn (195): Js
Hero leads 90, utg+1 raises to 450, co jams 1k, hero folds
I like this fold a lot more if turn is Jx not Js. Still not sure how I feel, open to any input.

Girlfriend is on April break now so don't think I'll be playing live much next week. Time to enjoy the sun and play some golf.

CO seems like he can show up with JJ here fairly often (not expecting to see 55), but I see no reason why he wouldn't also have AQs/ATs/KJo/KJs -- does utg1 not ever play AK/AA/KJs/AQs like this himself?
fwiw we're at the very top of our range on a dry board -- we're essentially conceding that we don't have a defending range (one of the many reasons why we shouldn't have a limping range)

@YGO all solid points, although I think CO is very capable of having 55 here, thanks for the reply.

Played a couple online tournaments on Sunday, made one final table and had a deep run in the 100k.
