As title says I'm gonna try get to a stake make enough to get by.

I'm putting $60 on pokerstars and gonna see how it goes.

Also got question about pokerstars loaded up last night kept tryna play a session and hotkeys kept not working would freeze and to me out to fold of that's the case may move 888 or something.

Any help or advice as to what stake you'd need to be at to make enough to just skim by be appreciated.

Rents about £350 month for room here which is cheap as relative ideally curious to know which stake would have to play get to to pay £1000 -£1500 rent as that seems the actual ballpark around where I live for rent on own.
Any help advice appreciated as for why I'm trying numerous reasons to be honest.

I have £72 to my name anyways for the next 2fortnight roughly and and that's including the $60deposit, which will need too hopefully not lose as need some for trains food and things next few days.

Did you ever play poker before, or are you just beginning in the game?

Ofc depends on your winrate. If you can get to 50nl and play 40k hands a month at 6 bb/100 (realistic plan for a good not crusher player who bumhunts at reg tables considering what tracking sites say ), that would be 1200 USD, or 952 GBP if my exchange rates are right. Tweak the volume and you get there.

Zoom is way tougher, leads to higher hourly if you´re really good to begin with.

But yeah, really depends on your prior experience with this game, which stakes you played before etc. If you´re a beginner, don´t think you have any chance of succeeding. If you played higher before and was a winner, maybe but you still need to move up and with your current BR, risk of ruin is high. You can´t move up aggressively if you ha ve to cashout for your basic needs.

Btw, due to variance and mental game issues, if you depend on this game for making next month rent $$$, I see a problem coming eventually.


Realistic route: Get a menial job, save, get a coach/training site/db software etc, move up to 50nl and decide your further plans from there.

good / bad start i gambled up my deposit $60 playing roulette to about £200 on another site : ) then decided to take it off that site and put it on 888 some of it $200 use rest to eat, one annoying thing i think ive been charged by 888 poker just to deposit : ( ... ? charged me 5-6% im not sure quite what but i looked how much $200 is in pounds time of deposit said £159.84 yet i got charged £168.07 by 888 not exactly a fee i can afford get my deposit raked too lol and if theres a withdrawal charge too how the hell anyone make any money at 888, hopefully stars gets back to me about the software hotkeys issue and may have to go back there as those deposit withdrawal fees are greedy and a joke.

anyway first session went ok bar the end where i punted off a stack on a bluff where theres really not gonna be enough folds riv to my overbet jam, think fact had long day and was 2hr session didnt help, impressively i kept my tilt relatively tame undercontrol just more typical small medium spew here and there and one big ****** bluff, decided pack it in for night as even though i need the volume i dont wanna monkey tilt cause i did something really dumb.

and yh i agree with zoom i played way too much of that, was always waste of time in the end.

dont know why i do this to myself, had £100 deposited and didnt even play poker just played roulette 10-15mins later boom gone.

deposited $15 more as all i got and really dont have that as need that, but gonna make mini challenge recoup as much of the £100 as possible before sunday night at 2nl 2hr in so far gonna play like madman
