Hello everyone,

I am a 26 years old poker player from Croatia. Like it says in the title I will try to do a challenge to play 4k mtts until the end of 2023. Spent the last two weeks on vacation and thinking about my poker journey this year what I really lacked is the volume. It will also be a good way to introduce myself to poker community as I am fairly new to poker. Started playing online poker in 2018 and I loved the game instantly but I have not put a lot of time in getting better and playing. Last three years I played little to no poker as I was working 10-12 hour shifts on construction sites. Beginning of this year I came back from Germany to live in my hometown and instead of looking for a job I decided to play online poker for a year and see how it goes. Started to play tournaments with a 500 dollar roll and was a breakeven player for 2 months but coming from a sports background where quitting is not an option I started to study a lot and had solid results since than.

Playing plan:

- play 6 days a week ( Mondays are off only playing if there is a day 2)
- play tournaments from 2-11 dollar, on European sites from 5-10 euro
- starting at 07:00 AM local time, week days and Saturday 8-10 h grind, Friday and Sunday 10h+ grind
- play 1000 tournaments a month

Study plan:

- get a little bit better every day ( study 25-40 minutes when playing longer sessions, 60-90 minutes when playing shorter sessions)
- watch 5 videos a week from BBZ explaining things in GTO wizard
- run 10 sims a week in HRC

Hello people,

been grinding a lot last week and looking at my volume and results today realised that Sharkscope is not tracking GG anymore. It is a shame because 55-60% of my volume is on GG and they are running the most tournaments in the morning schedule at my stakes so I will start tracking volume on GG on my own. Started playing on Winamax and I will incorporate more tournaments at that site . I am satisfied how this week went in terms of volume, played around 150 MTTs that are tracked and I at least played that many if not more on GG because both Stars.eu and .es had server maintenance on Thursday morning. In terms of studying ran a lot of HRC sims( running them for ICM spots ) and watched BBZ seminars about PKOs as most of the morning schedule is PKOs. In terms of results had a lot of 3rd,4th and 5th place finishes but won a PKO on Sunday so can not be unsatisfied with the results also had a few Final tables on GG.

Hello people,

have not been grinding this week as much but overall satisfied with my volume as I played everyday except Monday, just was not been putting those long hours. This week I will take 2 days off(Monday and Thursday) and see if I can put enough volume to keep this challenge on track. In terms of results had a lot of FTs on GG in those daily turbos and bigs and one bigger FT. Played 71 games on GG and was in profit for 233$. On other sites got absolutely destroyed, especially on Saturday and Sunday. Studying last week I focused mostly on postflop and understanding why we bet certain sizings in those spots.

Thats nice to hear! Right now i am living in Germany and things just got worse especially when you play tournaments. Now i am looking for a new destination. Croatia is def on the list after the winter Can you recommend regions or places that are most enjoyable? Like easy and relaxing atmosphere.

Most people prefer regions of Dalmacija and Istra because of the sea but anywhere you decide to go is beautiful and Croatia is def the country you can relax in. If you decide to go i hope you have a nice time and enjoy your stay.

well this week has flew by can not believe it is already Monday. I have only played played 4 days this week but volume is still solid because I had long Saturday and Sunday sessions. In terms of results had good first 3 sessions but then got crushed on Sunday. On GG I have played 65 games and made a profit of 21$. Had only 1 FT but that is expected as I was running good for the first 2 weeks on GG. Study time this week has been mostly spent on analyzing my own game and finding the leaks with PT4. Studied postflop game as well as my postflop game is terrible and needs a lot of work. This week I will play afternoon/evening schedule and play some WCOOP and WSOP events.

Hello everybody,

this week is probably the most fun I had this year on poker tables. Played evening schedule and will continue to play this schedule in the future as games are much better and there is so many MTTs to play. I need to create a better game selection as I was a bit overwhelmed the first 2 days because I wanted to play everything but there is just not enough room on the monitor for every game. Felt very confident in my game and those 30-45 min study sessions every day are helping me improve rapidly. Will continue to study with BBZ seminars, HRC, PT4 and I will probably buy GTO wizard to improve my postflop game. In terms of results bricked every WSOP, WCOOP and Galactic event I played but learned a lot on how to navigate this big fields and playing against more experienced and better players than me was a big learning curve. On GG played 62 games and made a net profit of 287$.In total last month across all sites I have played 823 games and made a profit of 1037$. Will do my best to push for more volume this month as I am getting better at multi-tabling. Also have a pretty decent stack in WCOOP 5.50 phase day 2 so looking forward to playing that tonight.

Hello everybody,

decided not to post weekly just update the thread monthly and I do not have a lot of volume to show this month, played only 500 MTTs. Sharkscope also added option to download your results from gg so i can see how many games i have really played. As of studying bought gto wizard and it helped my postfop and preflop game a lot. Still struggling in multiway pots oop and found a lot of leaks in my database on Pt4 so tried to improve on that. Results have been solid and will start moving up in stakes next month also took 1 day off to sort my game selection, added more small field tournaments. Will update thread next month and hopefully i can show more volume.

this month was probably my worst since i started to take this game as more than just a hobby, both volume and results have not been the best. Also did not study every day just run a couple of sims in hrc and looked at charts and that is what i need to change for the next month. Did not move up in stakes as i feel like it would be best to grind these stakes till the end of the year, will play every day in December till 22nd and although i failed this challenge will finish it and see what my volume and results will look like in the end.

Hello everybody,

well this challenge is over, will play a few more sessions till end of the year but decided to post now because life will be chaotic in the upcoming weeks so that i dont forget to post. Even though i failed, learned a lot and to remember at March was struggling heavily to beat 2$ and 5$ MTTs and could not play more than 4 tables, this is improvement. This month did not play more than 8 tables at the same time to really focus on every decision. Studied ICM shortstack play and this will be the main focus for me in future study sessions. Next year will take this journey into professional and will be looking for a coach or staking and coaching as i really need better explanation on game selection and how to fully utilize study tools and somebody to review my database. Anyway enough of my rambling if anybody is reading this all the best for the upcoming Holidays on and off the tables.
