Yeah timing wasn't great, but if I had to have the same results at the end of the day, I'm sorta grateful that I heatered, then downswung because if I had such a ridiculous downswing at the start I probably wouldn't have finished it, and woulda lost out on a lot of potential profit from the extra bonuses/rakeback.

The line includes refunds, a few BOP scores and yes all SNE rakeback/bonuses. I put 60%, next year it'll be more like 73% because of the 5x multiplier instead of 3.5 for FPPs.

Gonna aim to play 2+ more hours today and finish off tomorrow. 22K VPP left now, hopefully will end the day with 15K or less left!

Games have been ok, some of the better/best regs have finished for the year so it means the average game is softer, still some pretty gross 6 reg games though. A lot of cash/mtt/other sng regs are popping by, probably to finish their milestones and stuff. Occasionally getting really ridiculous fishy games which is nice, had a few 3-4 fish 200s today o_O

Lol to be honest I'll probably just get it mid session and not notice, but if I am taking a break just as I reach it maybe I'll call a friend to play HU or HU SNG for it. I make like 3K VPP/hr and I load continuously so it's a lot harder for me to plan for the 1 Millionth relative to maybe playing cash games or something.

Thanks, I had doubts sometimes but fairly quickly realised it was close to a lock. The huge downswing near the end was a little hard but I was so far in/committed that even that couldn't stop me lol.

Lol yeah I'll be the first to admit that my work ethic this year hasn't been amazing. I mean I am the type of person who usually gets what needs to be done, done, but often leaves stuff quite last minute (goes back to high school and my first year of university for assignments, etc).. I didn't play an absurd amount of volume like some people have to finish SNE (although obviously more poker than most people in general), and like I said previously in this thread and/or the other thread I feel bad for taking too much credit here since I never had it that bad in terms of work required etc. I was also fortunate enough to have very flexible backers who "believed in me" and essentially was able to play what I wanted all year, within reason.

Nevertheless I'm of course still really happy to make it and will be proud, but yeah I know you guys are just being nice with compliments so I know what you mean.

Gonna take a quick shower, finish off today in about 5 hours! Will obviously post the mandatory screen shots etc ITT of the black stars when I'm done.

Oh I will add one thing that I think playing so many tables of hypers specifically was a lot more difficult, if anyone hasn't tried, doing so (even if it's like $1 stakes or whatever) is way more tiring than even 30+ tabling other games like 180s, fifty50s etc. So many more decisions/time and way more often you are forced to make 10 decisions in 5 seconds or whatever too. In addition the swings/emotional side too I guess. A 2 hour session for hypers is quite tiring whereas say 7-hours of 180s is quite relaxed.

Fwiw there was some of the year (not much :P) where I considered myself to have worked quite hard, logging in a lot of hrs playing 6-8 tables of zoom. I had about a month in the states this year where I couldn't play, 2 weeks in Fiji where I couldn't play (bad internet/unusable internet), 2 weeks in Australia where I was in the desert (lol no internet) and 3 weeks I was grinding Aussie Millions/EPT Berlin live so I had limited time too. After I got back I was playing like 40-50 hr weeks for a bit (which still isn't that sick I guess) although I stopped that pretty soon after. Meh.
