Need to get to $10K to go pro comfortably, although $8K will be the minimum. Hoping to get there by October 5-6. Playing NL50/NL100, hoping to move up to NL100 full time within the next week. I am young and I am stupid and I am going to move to another country and support myself playing poker, wheee. Wish me luck guys!

Everyone I know that had tried to go pro at 100nl/200nl has failed miserably.
But then again, you might be the exception to the rule.

Well the way I see it, it is very doable. I do not need much to live on at first, $1500/mon would be enough after I calculated all the costs, and im hoping to make double that and put the rest into my bankroll so it grows and I can keep moving up. Just the rakeback should be $1500/mon if I put in the volume at NL100.

And no, I do not have any other money, but due to my situation I cant really afford to wait till i have more saved up.

Why is 100nl so hard to go pro at? Just wondering.

Ok now I know your being funny. Also I like how you used this years biggest winners when the year has 4 months left. I just said how much I need per month and that im hoping to keep moving up(to NL200 within like 3 months after I start doing this). I wont be at NL100 for years or anything. And just rakeback alone gives me what I need per month.


Poker is my passion and it's what I want to do. We all start somewhere and I have thought this through. I just know I can do this.

This is how I feel as well. I actually have the same plans (I had a previous thread) about a 10K br and grinding 100NL. Rakeback is alone to live on if we break even. I'm starting for supernova next January. Good luck man.
