Hello everyone, i play at pokertars with the same screen name as here. This is my first post so i will tell you my poker background.

Last year i was watching a lot of poker, GSN High Stakes Poker, poker after dark and other shows and really enjoying it. So i decided that starting 2012 i was going to make a small deposit and try playing for real money, because i was done playing for play money, it was so lame. So i went and deposit $37 ($500mxn) on stars, i found the hard way that i had no clue what i was doing and lost all my bankroll on 6max 10NL.

So i start reading and watching videos about poker, learn about bankroll management, HUDS, 6 max gameplay and after 2 weeks i decided to deposit another $37 and give 6max 2NL a try. And i was doing well playing 4 tables, then decided to try 6 tables and couldn't keep up and then got tilt (see the graph), studied some more poker and then i was really grinding, and all past week i was doing really well, until tonight when had a few bad beats and coolers and got tilted, and start bluffing etc. lost about $11.5 but after calming down y recovered $8. So i know i can beat 2NL when i dont tilt, and im doing this challenge to motivate myself and whenever im feeling tilted i know im gonna make a fool of myself when i post my session results.

So my challenge is pretty simple.

-Get my bankroll to $120 before april 11 (last day to make my last stars600 bonus deposit) so i can give 5nl a shot.
- Playing 4 tables of 6 max 2nl.
- At least 500 hands each day, more on weekends.
- NOT GET TILT

Run really bad today, got my AA cracked two times preflop All-in, (didnt tilt ) a bad call with TPTK against a set, other than that not big mistakes in terms of $$.

First thing that popped into my head; why $37?

I'm doing something similar at 5nl 6max, though I have set a volume goal instead of a profit goal. Despite that, we are both in nearly the same boat, with us being cash newbs and all.

oh and why do you use poker co-pilot and not PT or HEM

I dont think there is PT or HEM for Mac Os as far as i know. If poker starts going really well for me i might switch to windows, but for the moment poker copilot has all the basics i need, Graphs, replayer and a decent HUD.
