$30k in earnings last 8 months of the year

Spending
Since Sept 1, I've been keeping track of how I've been spending my money. These numbers don't include my rent.
My rent is usually about $470/month with utilities, so we'll call it $500 a month to make it easy.
$4917 + $500*4 = $6917
$1729/month
breakdown:
Food 26.5% $1303 (fast food, restaurant)
Grocery 14.6% $717
Beer 14.3% $703
Electronics 10.8% $531
Clothes 9.2% $452
Car 8.4% $413
Other 16.2% $796
I took 6 flights(3 trips to Vegas) and only spent $27.50 on each ticket for a grand total $165 on 3 round trip flights, thanks to my good friend who works for an airline. My friends at Flux Stables also hooked me with a free place to stay at their house in Vegas for 2 weeks. I only spent $20/night when I stayed at the extended stay next to the Rio when I was down there for a week during the series. None of them will probably ever read this, but I thank you all a bunch for this! I would also like to thank my parents for being there for me no matter what. I don't know where I'd be without them!
My eating habits are def my biggest leak, and I've been really cutting back on my drinking the last 3 months also.
I'm still not sure what 2014 will have in store for me, or what I want it to mean to me, either. I definitely know that I want to spend much less on food and beer in 2014 though. I want to get into a good routine and play/work many more hours than I did in 2013. I played < 600 hours the last 8 months of the year (the duration of this challenge) and not much in the first 4 months.
Even though not many followed this thread, I want to thank each of you for reading it. It still kept me motivated and gave me incentive. I love seeing results. One day I'll be able to look back on this.
I'll probably post one more time in this with some final numbers.
