Started off the month great, but kind of hit a bump in the road last night. Went to an after hours game with a huge fish in it. It was just 1/2 NL but was obviously playing really deep.
I only had 3 beers while playing at the casino and had some more at the after hours game. I wasn't completely drunk, but definitely buzzed enough to where I feel that it affected my play. I made a really bad fold, I think, against the fish on a 2343K board with JJ. I wish I could stop thinking about this hand, but I can't right now. I think it will bug me for awhile, but I just wish I could move on.
Hopefully I'll learn from this, I need to start not drinking while I'm playing, not even a few. Especially when I'm playing way bigger than I'm used to. Ended up losing 1440 last night, well actually this morning. It went from 3am to 7am. Quite a big hit, especially with my small bankroll.

I won $165 at the casino and $670 in the after hours home game. Games are so good and people play so bad.

So the $800 cap in Montana is in full effect. Had a good lineup tonite, a lot of 6 and 5 handed play. Pretty good for me since I've played more hands of 6 max then the whole table combined by 10x probably. I actually have some HH's, maybe I'll get some feedback.

Had my first losing session of the month tonight. It could have been a healthy win, but I'm going to try and not dwell on it. I got to talk to someone about this who has a great perspective on this issue, and about all the aspects of being a poker player in general. This feeling reminds me of a hand I folded in a home game a few months back, ironically, I held JJ both times, and folded the winner both times. I dwelled on that hand for way too long, hopefully this time I can move on learn from this.

On a personal note, I've been eating fast food much less, going to the gym regularly, and have only drank one day this month, which was at my cousins wedding, zero booze at the tables.
