Catching some incredible heat just now. Downswing is fully over and I've reached a new bank roll peak. I'm not playing great though. I made a few plays and reads I'm proud of and some good range judgements on sizing of value bets but really I'm just hitting cards and still getting the spaz donations from fish. I won loads of small pots and won all my 70/30 and 80/20 situations. I got sucked out on for a full buy in to bring me back to EV, and it went a little wrong at then end with 2 pair counterfeit and monster double bellybuster straight, with 63s, flushed but a superb day overall. Not lucky in terms of EV or frequency of big hands but of when I had them. I also cleared a Stars bonus for $10.

Hows the difference in amount of fish in between 10NL and 25NL? I sometimes even think there are more fish at 10NL or 25NL than 16NL, since 16NL is such a weird stake.

First to admit I suck! Trying to get better all the time though.

Avizura I can't comment on NL25 as wasn't there for long and got crushed. NL16 I think is more reggy than NL10 over a small sample but not by much. I think people coming in from other sites or new to the game are more likely to choose NL10 or NL25 as easier stakes to work out maths wise and more transferable between poker rooms. Still some fish in that sea though.

On reflection on yesterday I was playing very badly towards the end I felt I was crushing so was on full winners tilt.

Here is a great example. Don't try and steal from a station with trash. If you do don't check a K high dry flop. Once you don't do that don't bet small to rep a flush you don't have. The river raise is probably OK as can be 2 pair that leads and may call as long as I fold to shove.

Didn't really work for me. I played ok but needed to fold a lot and the calls I did make were not good.

Pre is normal. Check to check call to induce bluff and weak aces to think they are good. Min bet sucks but no point raising. Turn looks close to me as min bet then pot I find is bluffy or big improvement. River bet then I might need to find a fold.

First weekend session went OK. I missed a lot but I made a few nice steals and won a BI and a bit on AA vs KK AIPF.

Only really tricky hand was this. He was crazy aggro but had not yet raised a flop Cbet. He was all barrelling and crazy call downs with junk. Could be a load of FD's but Kx is too much of his range and it would be playing for stacks as he would ping all streets with Kx. Felt like a pussy nit but waiting for better spot to let him fire into me. Should have checked it in hindsight and let him fire all his underpairs, 2nd and 3rd pair type hands.

Run good continuing. I got AA AIPF twice more and held vs shorty and full stacker. Some other decent play and a couple of stationy hands that I'm not happy with. Good news is BR is healthy enough that I'm dropping NL10 and moving to NL16/25 mix.

Stationy car crash time! I'm stopping for the night now as these froze me up. I want to know errors in line but especially what we think of river choices as played.

Two hands where I stationed myself into unhappy spots.

This one all unknowns and closing the action I think call is ok. Call flop with TPGK and BD flush draw is a bit stationy maybe but not the worst. Raising is no good. Turn I pick up some equity so again I feel call is bit stationy but OK with implied odds as if hit likely to get full stacks in.

River I think is a fold as I can't think of a range that I've got the equity to call vs.

This one I call flop raise with trips thinking I block a lot of Ax combos and want heart draws and airballs to keep firing. Turn is good blank so call but when he shoves river is that just too thin to call as better Ax is in range and live on board this low. JJ is also in there. I need him to be shoving busted draws for this to make sense to call so again felt I had to fold.

Rungood continuing. I've had a strange run since starting this thread with 5k hand heater to start with then a 8K hand awful downswing and now another 5k hand super heater. Very clear on my giraffe when they are. Across all of them I've played very similarly so I guess I'm happy with the results so far and now at 18k hands I'm winning at 10bb/100 which is nice.

Just waiting for the next big downswong. BR is now established for NL16/NL25 mix at $790. I'll take that.

Downswing in force. I playing awful as well. Ran into AA a lot in the last few hands. I've also been calling too wide and folding a lot to big bets. Not hugely exploitably so far but if people are paying attention its going to be a problem. All my big hands are just getting blinds. One of those spells sadly.
