NL10 is crushing me at the minute. Happy with my play apart from betting too thin and raising too light vs stations on occasion. Have run into toppest of range a fair bit which blows and missed all the flops. One awful hand vs reggy player. Calling 4bet is horrible but he was pushing on me so I left the table anyway after this spot. Ouch when he turns those cards over.

Horrible downswing here. All the 86/0 or 56/2 fish are limp calling with AQ/AK and getting 2 streets from my AJ or rivering a second pair etc.

I actually think I'm playing well though in most cases. I'm cbetting a lot but not ever as a bluff. Its just that they always have a better hand at the moment. Fortunately I got a few good wins in after my kicking at NL10 yesterday so BR is still where it was.

EDIT - Just tried a bluff. Obviously he had rivered the nuts I was trying to represent.

Why are you not playing on PS? If you are break-even on 888, you might aswell be break-even on PS due to massive rake on 888

Or play on euro sites and get ~50% RB

Sign up bonus on 888. Plus also I'm BE including huge rake so that's not a factor really.

I'll look at Euro sites next I think as I'm not going to get the next stellar reward on Stars so my current rake on that site would be huge. Once the new year starts I may well go back to stars.

Not sure if can be attributed yet but my not coming on here to whinge seems to be helping!

I have made two good adjustments that seem to be paying dividends. I'm erring on folding more when I don't know where I am rather than trying to make some choices based on a range that I have lost track of. I am also forcing myself to bet bigger with value hands and not worry that just because I wouldn't call with a GS or Ace high doesn't mean the fish won't. This also extends to spots expecially on the river where I used to check back I am firing more bets on the river both with bluffs (still very rarely) and also middle SDV hands. The net result of this is that my blue line is probably largely unchanged with some ups and downs in a general upward trend but my redline has leveled quite a bit. What this means is my general green line has gone from slow downward with showdown win jumps to keep it level (or drops to crush me) to slow upward trend with jumps to really boost winrate and occasional drops back towards flat.

This means that instead of needing to hit cards and cooler someone (or stack an idiot) just to cover my blind losses, they are sort of covering themselves at the minute. Very happy with my general play though obviously still loads of leaks (i'm still crazy weak tight vs aggrotards for example) but I feel like I've taken good steps to plugging a couple of huge ones.

Mental game is also solid of the back mainly of a move to more positive mantras before and during playing and also not coming on here to go on about how bad I am, even if I feel it. Not validating this appears to be helping.

BR is $602 but more than that I feel like I have a foundation to improve further.

Another day where I had awesome tables and not great cards. EV made me a loser for the day for the times where I did have the goods and still lost but most of the loss was me folding my way down. Thoughts?

1)why'd raise so small pre with KK with 2 whales at the table? You cant possible scare a 60/5 fish out of the pot by raising to 45/50c pre.

2) guy seems passive so i'd probably just fold otf. This could be bad, but i like to get out early rather than call and then call turn brick and fold brick river when they continue to bomb (tho this guy didn't swdik) Plus ATo is the weakest Ax in your range here. I wouldn't even open it if not for SB.

3) I might not 3b this pre so i can play a pot with fishies.
