Hi. Welcome to my thread, where I will be attempting to grind up from 2NL with a $30 bankroll (plus an active bonus and partially completed Stars chest). The primary purpose of this is to (1) challenge myself and see if this is possible and (2) slowly get myself back into playing the game.

I will start out playing 2NL on PokerStars NJ. I will probably stick with PokerStars, at least through the nano stakes and probably up to 50 or 100NL as (1) I can track my hands using PokerTracker and (2) they seem to have the most action in NJ for these stakes. If/when I get higher I will need to branch out.

As I do not want to spend a ton of time playing nanos and I don't care about having a decently high RoR on a $30 BR, my bankroll requirements will be as follows:

5NL: $100
10NL: $200
30NL: $600
50NL: $1,000
100NL: $2,500
200NL: $6,000
500NL: $17,500
1000NL: $40,000
Anything higher: 40 buy-ins

I work full time so this will be just be a side project. I am going to shoot for 15 hours of play per week and 5 hours of study.
