Hi guys, Im 19 years old and im playing now poker for 2 years. My biggest winnings were in plo were i used to have a br above 1k$ but the tillt made me loose it and i withdraw 600 $. Mostly spent it on party, wich i think is what every 19years oly dude should do For now im playing nl to build up a br.My best game is nl for sure but i had my biggest wins in plo but the swings are killing me and i dont want to go with it again. To that im gonna play some Sng´s because i always make some money in it too like the 20 fpp freroll on stars where i finished first and got mysel 157$.
I also started this thread to keep myself playing and motivated and for questions to you guys, since im a beginner
So im gonna play 4 table 0,01/0,02 9 max table on stars .
Any good advice would be great

GL with this. $16 is not much to start with. If you're crushing, you could play underrolled 5NL from around $50 - $70-ish I think, but normally $100 - $150 is advised to stay in your comfort zone. And that can be a tough grind to reach on 1c/2c tables. Is there no way you can start with a little more than $16?

How many hours/hands are you planning to play each day/week?

im playing 100-200 hands per day.
And i have to live with the 16$ br but im soon getting a 50 $ bonus from stars

100-200 hands?
so if you run a sweet 10PTBB/100 and get that bonus and want to get to $100, you're still going to need 3 months to get to $100?

If you made most of your money at PLO, I would stick to PLO, there is much more money to be made at it than NL, especially when you move up. The swings will be bigger but there are swings whatever you play.

Also 100-200 hands a day is not very much if your multitabling. Will take you a long time to move up id say.

I too am starting from a micro BR and building it up. You may have seen me at the tables tonight :P

I'm currently in a downswing, which friggin sucks, and loosing $3 or $4 every 200-300 hands is really getting to me, I'm realy starting to question everything......

But variance happens, which is why people recommend 20 or 30 or even more byuins per level, so the swings don't seem so bad.

If you´re playing 100-200 hands/day 4-tabling, for how long do you play in a day? 15-30 min?
And how are you getting a $50 bonus on Stars with a $16 BR?
