I am 19yo Italian guy that it's trying to live the poker dream.
I play everyday for 8-10 hours (playing+studying), I am creating this thread to get advice and inspire people to follow their dreams.
I will update this journey every week, these are my stats and my winrate at 25NL and 50NL on Pokerstars.

I assume you already know your w$wsf stat is too low and you should work on that. The correlation between this particular stat and how much you´re currently losing in non-showdown winnings is very high. You didn´t ask for advice, and if you find this disrespectful, feel free to ignore, but have you ever considered coaching? Might be the quickest way to move up over all those stakes with the speed you want. I finally did find a good coach and feel my game progressed a lot, too bad it took me so much time before finally looking for it.

I don't have the money to pay a coach, an Italian 200NL reg will probably stake me and coach me, it sounds like a good idea.

(I don't care about the money, just wanna get coached from a good player)

Ishter11 (Cameron Couch) had a good series of vids on RIO at 50nl, so maybe getting a RIO Essential sub and starting from there (getting a From The Ground Up sub would grant you 1 month essential and is also a good course imho). Ishter's a bit old and, in some respects, outdated, but gives so many good advice and insights on how to beat those 25 and 50nl nits, helped me a lot.

"I play everyday for 8-10 hours (playing+studying)". Regarding this, you need fix the hours separately for playing and studying. If not, you will get in the habbit of playing a lot and studying less than supposed.

If you don`t mind, I have a few qestions about Italin poker, because I`m thinking of moving to Italy and I want continue living from poker. And it`s really hard to find this info on google and stuff.
1. Is there any traffic for SNGs, or at least combined SNGs+MTTS?
2. How much are the taxes?
3. What should I check before moving, poker related?
4. Is it hard to open and account?

I always study 1 hour a day and play the rest of them.

If your living is made with poker don't come to Italy.

We don't have casinos
Only one site is 100% reliable the other have a collusion problem or a bot problem (This problem is more significant in a cash game)
You can't pay more than 250€ a tournament(all the 250€ tournaments in Italy are all freezeout)
There is decent traffic in S&G made by 27 people on PokerStars but the max buyins where there is traffic is 10€ and the smaller is 3€(every other site has no traffic at all)
Max that you can play in cash games is 1k€ but it's always empty.
You play just against Italian people
Big tournaments are not that common
We don't have taxes because the casinos already pay the taxes through the rake
We Have poker rooms but you can only play tournaments(the rake is like 30%), we don't have a lot of them and they are not the best but we have it
Live cash game is illegal in Italy(online cash game is legal for some reason), in the poker room you will find people that play cash game but it's pretty risky

I guess you can live in Italy playing poker with tournaments but it's hard because you will have a pretty small ABI.
I know a couple of people who live with S&G(27 people) and Rakeback but you can't play more than 10€ 'cause there is no traffic.

Cash game traffic is till 200€ after that you will have 3 tables avg then maybe 1 at 1kNL.

This is not the best nation if you're a poker pro

I played live a few times and it`s not for me. Too slow and $/hour si kinda small + big variance. Live for me is only for fun.
Do you know during peak hours how many 10$ are running at the same time? There is the 2nd option, wich is not the greatest, maybe to add some games from ACR along with the main platform.
Maybe I`ll check the 2nd option, Spain.
Too bad Italy didn`t join the west european player pool.

This is the situation after 20 days.
Making Adjustment:
1)I will go up in stakes when I have 35 BI and do a 10 BI shot
2)Hired a coach
3)Money from the Rakeback will be withdrawn to pay gtowizard/coach
4)Coach noticed some big leak in my game, fixing that every day through gtowizard drills and study,
5)Added a db analysis to my off-table work towards regs with over 5k+ hands

Ran really bad, 18 buy ins under ev at 50nl it forces me to mix with 25nl and add some <50 people field tourney sunday.

Used gto+ to find exploit and now I have vpip:30 and wwsf 50

almost 10k mixed hands done and this is the result:



Just running hot but stats are changing.
