I am going to be starting with $25 in my Ignition Account and try to spin it up to $25,000.
I will start at 5nl since it is the lowest stake on the site and be playing Ignition Reg tables only.
I will be updating every 5k hands with my progress.
My expectation for each limit is as follows:
Expected Winrates for each limit:
5NL: 30bb/100
10NL: 25bb/100
25NL: 20bb/100
50NL: 15bb/100
100NL: 12bb/100
200NL: 10bb/100
Variance will be a decent factor in a lot of these winrates but these are just ball park numbers. Once I hit 25k I will take a 10buyin shot at 500nl! As far as moving up I'll move up whenever I feel like it, but probably after winning 30-40 buyins at the limit.
There will be no cherry picking here since you can't cherry pick a Bankroll Challenge. Wish me luck (or not) and follow along in this thread.
Good luck! Starting out with only 5 buy-ins for 5NL is intense.
I recently got $25 in freeplay on a newer online poker site and am in the process of trying to spin it up myself. Good results for me so far, hopefully you experience the same!

River ($1.20): A 4 9 J 7
HJ Checks, HERO Bets $0.57 (Rem. Stack: $4.38), HJ Raises To $5.32 (allin), HERO Calls $4.38 (allin)
Spoiler:
HJ shows: Q K
HERO wins: $10.55
Exhibit B:
Against 5nl/10nl regs I am going to be playing a max exploit strategy vs a likely 1/3 range bets in 3bps. Raise any two cards here and bluff flush completes/4 to straight completes.

Alvin Lau managed it (or at least claimed he managed it) playing zone. I don't see why it wouldn't be doable for Doodoo, playing regular tables.
I like how he is making the BRM rules the "correct", conservative way (other than now at the beginning obv), so no one can really say in the end he just got lucky.
Respectfully, this seems like a collossal waste of time especially for someone who is good at poker. Can I ask why you chose to start at $25?
It's a colossal waste of time if you treat poker like a job and only care about your hourly. But I don't think that is the best way to approach it.
Poker players look down on microstakes/small stakes all the time. I used to be friends with a guy who whenever we would go play live would never play 1/2 because of the perception that he would think it made him look like a bad player (even though he was terrible).
If you go play live and you play 1/2. The 2/5 players will look down on you. Likewise with the 5/10 players to the 2/5 players. It's all nonsense.
Just because you play a certain stake doesn't make you good. How you think about the game makes you good.
I chose $25 because it was a catchy title to go from $25-->$25k.
Also I think you are underestimating how important it is to study bot play.
Fun HH where we turn 2 pair into a bluff.

That's a real challenge mate.
I wish you al the luck.

If I'm a microstakes player looking for a coach, I'd rather be coached by someone who yes, is knowledgeable and beats higher, but also knows how the games I'm into really play, because he was there and crushed it. So, I have nothing but respect for what OP is doing, don't remember a lot of other coaches doing it (Kiranov the italian redline guy comes to mind). Now let's hope Doodoo actually succeeds in this

Sure, but it's undeniable that the higher stakes you play, the tougher the competition is. IMO whether you beat 5nl for 10bb or 15bb or 20bb, the result is just noise.
The money is also a factor of course, it's giving up a lot of EV.
HJ Folds, CO Raises To $0.15, HERO Raises To $0.45, SB Folds, BB Folds, CO Calls $0.30
Hero SPR on Flop: [8 effective] Flop ($0.97): 6 3 K
CO Checks, HERO Bets $0.31 (Rem. Stack: $14.43), CO Calls $0.31 (Rem. Stack: $7.45)
Turn ($1.59): 6 3 K 9
CO Checks, HERO ?
In a solver you never bet your open ended straight draws OTT here as a default. We want our opponents to have 88/77/55/44 so we block their folding range with all OESD . As a result we should X back OTT.
Blocking folding ranges. All 88/77/55/44 becomes 0EV continues vs turn barrel.
So instead of playing 200nl, maintaining the same winrate that you had over your 22k hand sample and shutting up all the haters, you do a silly br challenge?
I knew you were a bit of a simpleton, but even for you this is just hilarious.
