After cashing out allot of bankroll to live/take time of for the last few months, Im going to start my journey on the CAP hu table to max while adding in HU tables also, and some random MTTs.



Starting with the 25/50 CAP HU games.. so CAP is $10.. Swingy game and will be updating daily with graphs..

is it possible to beat the rake?

The rake is insane.. but its definitely beatable.. the players at that limit are very clueless.. I want to move up as quick as possible so that the rake isn't such a problem.

All about table selection and leaving if there isn't a big edge.. allot of people playing to, so it doesn't seem like that will be a problem.

What is the max rake for that limit?

Capped at 50c..

The swings are so insane though that the rake really doesnt take it into affect, we are going all in so often that it doesn't really matter..

Im nor fazed by this really.. was looking at hands, and guy was just running insanely well hitting cards constantly.. and everytime i started taking it back they would leave me.

Not sure how good the EV line is on CAP HU games, as going to get it in light, so Ive left it out.. but its at -$50.. so running about $200 under ev today, volume was decent though..

Does anyone know where I can find HU CAP articles/Videos?

Why do they keep hitting and running, just stay fish.. I need a bigger/stronger net.. I get them in, I just can't keep them there.. God dammit.

Mindset is pretty solid, so I don't think the ups and downs will affect me as it would affect other people, well see though.

Finished for today, only got another 50hands in, but just for completeness, time to play PS3/PC/Games.... Oh why isnt GTA5 out yet ;(

So i lied.. obviously got bored, wanted to play some more so did.. I have a solid read on myself, as long as I don't go all in (in a cap game, yeah, i know) then I will make money.. If I go to showdown, I just lose.



I really want to move to regular HU games, my edge there is actually pretty big and where I made most of my money online before, so tempted to play .25/.50 or .10/.25 SH.. and then when I have enough move to NL50 with shot takes and then stay when I can.

The game is just extremely different and getting my head around that I shouldnt be playing suited connectors so much as I have no implied odds and the fact that I can't 3bet/4bet or bluff the turn which are big parts of my game, are kind of destroying me.

Another thing I noticed, and only in 4,000 hands.. but my game looks like its going down steadily, so Im not sure what to think of that, I am getting awful card distribution, which obviously helps in HU.. but who knows.

I played some NL50 HU hands also.. but no real hands to show, as they were all pretty standard/boring hands.

Actions been slow last couple of days.. Get ready for uni again starting september, and moving out my apartment also.. So its abit hectic.. had my first ever EXACTLY breakeven session today.. and some guy was running like god against me earlier.. and then this happens.

Haven't been playing loads, just because of setting up uni stuff.. Should be good now until Freshers where Ill take the week of more than likely, or at least a fair amount.. Its looks better though now

Rake is unbeatable at those stakes. PLay hypers instead IMO.
