You obv never ever tell her that even if that was true.

Regardless it still highlights the flaws in the ways OP is approaching this right now.

Had a gem of a hand come up today.
I can laugh about it now but I was listening to post Malone- "money made me do it" and one of the verses goes "I said rest in peace to bankroll, you in a better place though" and obviously when you play that big of a pot it takes couple minutes and the whole song played and I heard that verse when v2 is tanking after putting in 360 with 800 behind.

V1-360
V2-1100
Linda-1200
Hero-1100ish

Hero opens black 9s utg
V1 & v2 call
Linda calls from sb
Flop 9h-6s-4h
Linda-leads 50
Hero-160
V1-all in 340
Here's the funny part, Linda doesn't know v2 is in the hand and calls out of turn.
V2-tank flats
Linda-calls 340
Hero- rips in 728 more.
4 way all in for 3500ish pot. So just a 700bb pot.
And it's set vs set vs set vs nut flush draw.
Turn gives linda nut flush and all sets brick.

Yeah... Hand sounds sooo made up so

The best part is if you look closely you can see 44 then after the cards are bent too Shiit. Hands down the best part of the pictures.

reloaded and played for another hour or so. Game died so went to ph to meet up with a friend playing 5/10 there,
Actually played a 1/2 session there and won 212

Today's total: -952

if you handread in poker like you read girls in rl, you won't make that goal.

her texting you is motivated by her female ego to see if she can still control you if she wants. first and foremost, you need to realize this girl is history, done, gone, bye bye. Then you need to read one of the many sources out there teaching you how to identify a keeper and if you find one, you can only be with her if you are a confident man and give her the attention and affection she deserves while maintaining being yourself. I recommend doing a google search for doclove and the system for starters. Also, please never-ever snap accept anything, it makes you wayyyy too available which is anti-challenge.

Edit: posting hands like above shows you don't have the right mindset for poker or you're playing too high/too attached to $. This is such a standard hand for anyone playing any decent number of hours a week. It's a set vs a flush draw and some of your outs are gone, it's not even worth thinking about for more than 5 seconds. You got your $ in good, done, next hand. I always shake my head a bit at NL players complaining about their bad luck in these hands. Go play PLO for a full week and these spots will become so normal to you you won't get upset over it when you return to NL.

Didn't think I was complaining about The hand in my wall of text. Yes standard hand in the sense it's flush draw vs set but with 1500 in dead money.

The last post got me thinking a ton and my view on the whole ex thing has changed dramatically.

I feel as though once she hit me up I was soo starstruck with the hopes of getting back together with her, that feeling has faded.
I'm just guessing here but I feel as though she may have been in a relationship and once that ended she was lonely and hit me up, not too rekindle things but to fill that void of lonelyness or to fulfill the feeling of being wanted, she knows I still love her to death and would do practically anything for her on the drop of a dime. Basically I feel as I was about to get used.
I will not reach out to her but I will grab lunch or dinner with her if she contacts me, but I will go to the dinner/lunch with low expectations, I will attend as though I'm catching up with an old friend that's it.

I can't really believe people are giving solid advice here but the spirit's catching so il give it a try..

Don't change your entire philosophy over one post from a random on Internetz (myself included).
You started this so positively and now in a real short space of time you've gone downhill real fast. You've pined for this girl everyday for a year you say and now just drop her like a cold pie?
She MAY have wanted to just see you the other day. She may not have wanted to use you you can't know for certain, not all girls are spoiled brats and you're not thinking straight.
You're only thinking negatively now and it could very well be the fact you've lost half your bankroll in a coupla days, obvs sorry. Like you said take a few days off and maybe think about if you should just bail now. 8k is better than a kick in the nuts. And you may have the girl of your dreams to spend it with.

You didn't answer another posters question earlier, but if you really did blow her off to go get a massage, there's a rather large chance that that's what spoiled it and it could be repaired. If spending all your time while together playing poker was a catalyst for your break up, you blowing her off at first chance was the worst thing you coulda done. And you need to tell her you understand that.
Again don't take any single persons advice but do what's best for you. Despite a lot of the tards on heres view, not all girls are bad man. There's some bloody good ones out there infact and if you think you've found your one, lock it in son. Poker will always be here

OP, just quit gambling and write a novel. There's less variance and less anxiety, and there's still a fair chance you could make $22K in sales, eventually.
That's what I'm doing now after losing the last of my bankroll on sports betting. (Thanks, LeBron)

With school fasly approaching(registering all my classes next week) it's time to make some decisions. I will have to move the 1st of next month, and I've yet to figure out which way I want to go with my life. I guess I have the weekend to figure everything out haha.

Funny hand from the past couple sessions.
Thoughts and opinions are encouraged.
Utg straddle. We start around 680-700 eff.
2 limps.
I complete 7-4ss in bb
Straddle makes it 50
Both limpers call.
I back raise to 190 and take down the pot right there.

My line doesn't make much sense but didn't think it had too.

Okay so limp 66 in mp in Btn straddled pot.
Bb calls. Straddler checks.
Flop K-8-2 checked around
Turn-6
I bet 10, Btn folded, bb 35, hero 110, bb all in for 600
River-7
Bb-K-8

6 hands later.
Utg straddle.
Utg 30
I call Btn with 6-7dd
5 ways.
Flop A-4-5ss
Checked to me, I bet 100
Sb calls
Same villain from hand above, 300
We're 1500 eff.
I call.
Sb folds.
Turn-7
He goes all in 1100.

I tank folded, his line doesn't make much sense so almost called, but he started talking to me so I snap folded.
He proudly shows 3-2ss

Day 2
Stuck 1000 right now, fun stuff hahaa.
I swear I always start my session stuck. I would say about 75% of my sessions start of by me being stuck in the game.
Only gonna play 3 more hours then hit up the dollar bowling with a friend, then back to the grind for 8 more hours
Played 3k pot won. Then won couple more hands now. Ended up winning +1660 after being stuck -900.

"People are like a herd of sheep. They blindly follow whatever attracts their attention. Wise, honest and intelligent people will always question, examine and evaluate what propaganda mainstream media proliferates."
Pretty cool quote.
Gonna do a full write up in couple days
