How do you even define "normal diet"... What's "normal" is us not eating for prolonged periods of time. What's not normal is having our insulin spiked 4+ times a day. Inflammation isn't normal. A dry fast is one of the best things you can do for your body and heals you in so many ways.

I'd argue so, yes. The body fat I lose in 3 days would take weeks to lose on this "normal diet", I'd also have to buy a bunch of food, establish a diet plan that caused caloric deficit etc etc. Not eating or drinking for 3 days is really, really simple. You just do nothing.

Highly recommend intermittent fasting and swimming if you want to lose body fat while retaining muscle. Those things (plus a decent 4-5 day/wk lifting plan) is the nuts for losing fat.
I'm bent on doing a single dry fast for the healing benefits and detoxification. I don't plan on doing dry fasts regularly. I will be going to the 4-5 day/wk lifting plan and doing intermittent fasting as soon as I've done the dry fast. I'll be substituting the swimming/cardio with a smaller eating window though (20 mins).

Yeah the HU games on PM turned to **** and I'd definitely not recommend playing HU on there. But the FR games are still the bees knees compared to Ignition.

48 hours in, down to 90.4kg from 95kg. Have 1 day left. Have had absolutely zero hunger pains this past 2 days, honestly haven't really felt hungry at all! But I do have a pretty brutal headache now that I imagine will persist for the next day.
Gameplan will be in 24 hours, jump in the bath tub with some pink Himalayan salt and drink some coconut water at the same time and alternate between the coconut water and some Evian mineral water, plus a couple teaspoons of sodium bicarbonate. Will rehydrate doing that for a couple hours and then maybe later in the night mix up a cocktail of AVC/lemon juice/prune juice to really wring the kidneys out a bit more. I don't imagine I'll refeed then but will probably transition into a 4 day wet fast (7 days total) depending on how I'm feeling.
My sister got me a 2.5 hour spa voucher for Christmas so I've booked that in for the 6th, so that'll be a nice way to finish up the dry fast. Then as soon as I've managed a refeed, it'll be back in the gym and back on the grind!
