Intro

With the new year here and the first month coming to an end, I figured it was time to find a new project. I don't post often in the poker threads anymore mainly just in the sports betting forum. I play nl200-nl1000 and have been betting on average $500 a unit. With that being said, I'm looking to start coaching but haven't played the micros in a very long time and am not sure of the current dynamics of the tables or if I can still even beat them. How can I teach someone to beat the micros when I'm not even sure of today's games. So out of nowhere today I get a call from Blackchip poker, its been over 6 months since I've played there, (ever since i discovered bitcoin sites), and they tell me I have a $20 free cash bonus in my account that will expire in 5 days. So I'm like big deal $20 dollars what the hell am I gonna do with that. Of course I decide to bet it all on the earliest college game i could find today.

WIU +6.5 $20 to win ~$17.

The bet hits and now i have right around ~$37 in my BCP account.

The Challenge

Instead of continuing to double down each bet, and trust me that sounds very tempting with this little amount, instead I'll be using it for educational purposes as I attempt to climb the micros with the end goal of nl200 ($4000 bankroll). During this time I will be taking notes and making optimal ranges and playing styles in today's current games to help with my coaching.

I'm sure this challenge is gonna be frustrating at times. I'm sure I'm going to want to say screw this and jump to my normal limits, but the value of this challenge is not necessarily the profits but in the knowledge I will obtain to help create a coaching program.

For this challenge I will be using a 20 BI BRM. All No Limit Holdem from HU, 6max and Full Ring. Playing exclusively on ACR. I currently have a 27% rakeback deal with them.

Will post daily/weekly graphs. Starting at nl2

Bankroll $37

First session in the books. Not the start I hoped for. Definitely need to make some adjustments.
