The Vegas NL games have been so bad that I even decided to play some 25/50 PLO, with a massive ~3,000 hands of experience life time.
I even had to ask what the minimum buy in was, even though I really don't like short stackers lol.

But all was good in the end, as I ran it up to 12k. I'm going to study some PLO, so I can play it for when NL games dry out.

There's some nose bleeds NL going on, but there's tons of politics going on to keep everyone but a few guys out of the game.

Which RIO video do you guys think I should watch?
I know pre-flop opening ranges and calling ranges, post-flop hand reading is pretty good as well, but I don't know different hand strength equities and how to stack off multiway etc.

I didn't know that fish spew off pre to that extent at high stakes. I mean how rich must that guy be to ***** jam $20k with a9o?

could you elaborate on the nl games? Tougher than you expected, don't run often, you're not allowed to play in any game?

Can't say anything right now because I don't wan't to lower my chances of getting in the game.

The games have continued to be very bad.
Yesterday, I waited around at the Bellagio for five hours and got no action. The only table available was 10/20/40 and I missed it because I got an ice cream. It was a pretty ridiculous ice cream, to be fair.

But I did cash in the 10k 6max and even got paid out after some attempts to have me pay some random taxes, so I can't complain too much.

Today will be a day off grinding. Going to coach a student live at home and then go go karting wth some friends and finish with dinner.

After a few more frustrating days without action, I finally played some jackpot games.

First up was a 15-hour grind of super deep stacked 50-100NL with some creative players.
I managed to lose 55k that day, but all was okay because the day after that...I lost over 55k again.
A sick VIP requested 100-200 so I would not have to be moved to the main 10k game.

Four bottles of comped wine later, it paid off for him

I opened MP with AJs, SB reg calls and he squeezes to 3k, we both call.
Flop J62xx, he throws in 2 5k chips, I go all in for 45k and he calls QQ, and requests that we run it once. Two bricks and he laughs and tips the wine girl 1000 dollars.

Note: He had already jammed 270bb on K679xx with QQ and he wasn't folding any hand.

Five minutes later, I got revenge.
He opens MP and I 3bet AQo in the SB.
He calls.

Flop AQ6r, I bet 2900 and he snap puts in 2 5k chips again.
After some fake concerned faces and some mental high fives with myself, I call.

Turn Kd, and he unleashes a stack of 25k cranberries for my last 25k. I snap call.

River bricks, he mucks and my hair line stayed intact.


During his madness, I play a pretty sick hand.
The winner of the hand had to show 1 card.

Money scared reg opens LJ, I flat MP with
Aces because the VIP was 3betting almost every hand and the reg wasn't ever going to call me down without the nuts.

Fish flats, flop is 962dd.
Reg bets pretty big, I call and fish folds.
Turn Qd and he bets big, I call.
River offsuit 7 and he puts in a 5k chips with 15k behind.

I thought he wasn't bluffing but this guy had been looking for any excuse to fold.
I channel my inner Linus and jam.

He shows me KJdd and he looks at me.
I was pretty proud that I gave him the fake smile when he thought I thought he wasn't looking.
He says I look like I have it and folds after 30 seconds.

I table the Ac, muck my Ad and the table errupts. Even the VIP was giving everyone knuckles and finished his wine.

I even drank some wine myself even though I think wine is disgusting.

Fun gambling times but they didn't pay off.




Main event time now. GL me.

Lol. I still find it hard not to start laughing any time I'm playing live in a situation where I have the nuts and am doing a victory dance in my head.

7Yesterday's game was great again and I crawled back from -50k to almost breakeven.
Confirmed break even player at best.

I played until 2AM, then had a late night snack sitting next to Sauce and Hollywood (yes, brag), slept a bit and now heading to the RIO for day 2 of the Main.
Only 42k chips, but I saved the run good for this one.

Tip money brag brag obviously.
