Hi guys, Welcome to my 2016 blog!

I have been a lurker on 2+2 for quite a while but i'm pretty sure i'm not using the site anywhere near to it's full potential so i have decided to replicate my blog from PStrat.com to here as i feel i will be using the site more and more the next few months and it will motivate me even more to hit my goals

My Background :
I'm just an average 24 year old guy with dreams of earning big money and having freedom to travel the world while i have few attachments holding me back. I've played poker since i was 18 always depositing and losing money until about 12 weeks ago where i began to take it more seriously.

My other love :


I started with a $50 deposit on 888 in November and i am sitting at €594 as of right now after switching to Ipoker 3 weeks ago. I'm currently playing NL20 speed trying to grind out a FDB and i'm putting all FDB chunks and RB into my roll as i want to move to another site once this bonus runs out mid February. Since moving to Ipoker i have been a slightly losing player but earning money from FDB and RB which i'm not to fussed about other than i want to beat these stakes. I have been working hard on my game and have a plan to move abroad this year to play poker/travel but it is going to take a hell of a lot of hard work to get there but hopefully you's can help

My bankroll management:
NL10 - €250
NL20 - €500
NL50 - €1750
NL100 - €4500
NL200 - €9000

With each level I plan on a 5 BI shot and then dropping back down if i drop below 40BI's for lower limit. E.g. Playing NL20 with €500 but dropping to NL10 if i drop down to €400.

Goals for January :
- Play 50,000 hands
- Clear €800 bonus (45 days to do so)
- Reach comfortable NL20 bankroll (€700)
- At least 2 session reviews per week
- go back to the gym

Goals for 2016 :
- Visit 4 different countries(more if I hit later goals)
- Reach NL100 Bankroll (€4500)
- Go to the gym 4+ days a week no matter what.
- Become a shark @ the tables!
- Turn semi-pro so I can leave my job and travel.

I managed to win a few BIs late on Sunday and unlock another €10 chunk of FDB but I couldnt play yesterday because the ipoker client was hardly loading. Hopefully when I finish work it will be back up and running well and I can put in a decent grind

Today was absolutely awful haha. I had two sessions, the first being the much worse one and the second one a bunch of fish helped me with a few BI's to end the second session in a profit. Still down for the day though.

Life :
This week has been rather stressful and i'm so glad to be off work this weekend. Also i've finished dry January so i can finally have a few drinks on Saturday night :f_drink: I got a promotion at work today and now it's going to be affecting me even more when i'm not at work but i'm quite looking forward to the challenge even though it will take a lot of hard work. I never though i would end up on this career and i wouldn't say I particulary enjoy it but you have to work with what you can get and i'm trying my best until i can afford the poker pro lifestyle :s_cool:

Poker :
I've not played that much this week mainly down to being stressed out from work and not wanting to play but when i have played i have played decent so it is finally sinking in some of the stuff i've learnt Yesterday i switched to reg NL20 tables and f**k me , What a difference :banana:. I knew there was fish on Ipoker somewhere and it looks like i've found them . Here's a hand from today which i was considering folding as it was such an ''I've got AA'' Line :

Bankroll also took another small boost by winning €27 from the freeroll tickets they have been giving away - seem to get like 4 chances per night and ive won €90, €27, €9 and €2 x 2 so far from them this month :s_thumbsup:
I'm also raking in the points as Gold is 35% RB and i'm still clearing chunks of my FDB

Bankroll : €690 + i have points to cash in on Sunday so it looks like i will be hitting at least one of my goals for January

The first half i thought i was doing well then this weekend has ruined me :f_cry:
