He hasn't yet. He's returned to the same seat numerous times, I don't think it's a superstitious run bad thing.

He's been asked. He says he doesn't know. He's on his 13th change. He's gone 7-8-4-7-1-2-6-3-8-7-2-8-2-3.

Yeah, I have a good memory and I pay too much attention at the table.

He's waiting for the 5 or 9 to open up.

Could be a mental disorder or OCD thing. Does he move everytime he loses/folds a hand? That would provide a hint of a pattern at least.

No, every time a seat opens. He's in the 1 seat now.

Put a thumbtack on the next open seat to stop that crap. But seriously, it has to be some weird luck-based ritual he is trying out, just too embarrassed to say so. Is he any good?

Well, enjoy the circus and hopefully he ships his stack to you.

He tried. He binked a 2 outer to chop for a massive pot. Dead to a chop via 2 outer on the flop. Money went in on turn and river. He then seat changed when the 6 opened. Hopefully he ships his stack still, sadly he was bailed out.

ETA: We weren't all in, pot was smaller than it wouldve been on a clean runout. Still between 300 and 400BB.

Seat Change Prank

The final count for our OCD "friend," by the time I left was 16 seat changes, but he was still playing and hadn't gotten to the 5 or the 9 yet.

He was triggering a lot of floor calls because he was trying to seat change before people with seat change buttons moved, and arguing with them for wanting to move, then calling them petty for wanting to move ahead of him. The floor was getting annoyed by this.

When he got called from the must move to the main game, he was in his big blind so got to play 2 more hands before moving. He said "Deal me in!" and then ran over to the other table to lock up a seat and request a seat change button. I could hear him asking if anyone over there had a seat change button, and nobody did. He came back over to his hand in the SB, turned and told the floor, "I have the first seat change over there, nobody has one."

She explained that he couldn't lock in the first seat change until he was actually in that game, and he called a raise in the small blind. I looked over at the other table, then at the floor, then at the other table again... I just couldn't help myself. I sauntered over and tapped a reg on the shoulder.

Me: "Want to put your new player on raging tilt?"
Reg: "Uhh, sure?"
Me: "Have everyone request a seat change button before he comes over, he'll lose his mind."

I walked past the floor and quietly said, "Sorry, I probably just made your next hour tougher, but I couldn't resist."

They did, and he looked so confused and frustrated when he got to the new table. About 10 seconds later...

"FLOOR! 72!"

She hides a smirk and walks over and explains that all of the other seat changes are ahead of him. The floor comes back over and tells me she loved it and is laughing at the whole spectacle.

Of course, none of those people really wanted seat changes, so he still jumped around a million times. Before the end of the night, the floor had to take a Sharpie and write numbers on the seat change lammers.

Quite the character.

2016 Week 1: January 1-7

I’m already at 24 hours of play, two hours of study, one trip to go lifting, and one new meal, but these are the goals I laid out for myself on 1/1.

[ ] Play 50 Hours of Live Cash

This is more than I need to average, but will likely be my goal on any week where all seven days are available to me with no broadcast/family/etc obligations.

[ ] Study Poker for Five Hours

[ ] Spend 2+ Hours on Launching an Online Business

[ ] Lift Three Times

These three will be goals every week that I’m not traveling.

[ ] Do Something Active on 75% of Non-Lifting Days

This will be a goal every week of the year.

[ ] Create/Learn to Cook a New Meal

This will be a breakfast this month.

A) Don't know that for sure.

B) He was doing a lot of things to get under people's skin and create tilt including a horrible slow roll in a 2.6K pot... So I don't feel bad at all.

You said earlier you believed he definitely had a form of OCD. Of you truly belive Tha then what you did can only be considered a dick move. Seems weird to play the I don't know that card now

Your B is more reason to believe he has a mental disorder.

I don't think being a pick to annoy people is evidence of a mental disorder, nor is a massive slow roll. Today he also quasi slow rolled a turned 3 outer in a 2.5-3K pot, screamed loudly and pranced around celebrating while needling the guy he beat.

Is it rude to laugh at someone who has some sort of problem? Yeah, but when he's being mean to everyone and the compulsion is seat changing at a poker table, I'm not going to feel bad about it.

There was actually a discussion in the room today with a couple people saying they are pretty sure he's totally normal and it's an act to induce tilt.

If people have to discuss whether or not he's totally normal then there's probably something wrong with him.

cuse,

making fun of a disabled person is questionable regardless of the circumstance. next time you tell that story include that he was drunk and racist or some comedy to lighten it up.

Obv the guy was weird as hell though.

People with mental disorders tend to do things that offput others. Does this excuse them for their actions? No but it requires some level of understanding when reacting to them.

Also you don't have to justify it to me. It's weird the original story didn't include any mention of a slowroll, when someone shares a negative stance with their action you add in that he slow rolled for a large pot, and then when I still showed negative reaction you added in he slow rolled and then pranced around needling. Why don't you just save time and say he also stabbed the dealer.

Every action you share with the public is going to be judged. If you feel what you did is fine, then own it. If not then say it was a mistake. Don't try to convince everyone to view it the way you wanted. You can't please everyone.

At the end of the day, none of us were there, so we are drawing conclusions based off what you shared. I personally disagree with your actions, some will find it funny.
