Going to make a strong effort to update every Sunday as I browse these forums daily yet never post, that has to change.

Live

Have been putting in mostly less than 16 hour sessions every weekend, except MLK weekend I put in somewhere around 30 hours. I've been playing 1-2 NL and 1-2 PLO, if there's a PLO table going I usually try and go there for as long as I can as I believe the skill level of opponents is weaker in comparison. As of now my results include both games, at some point I will differentiate the two so I can see how I am doing in regards to each game separately.

Last 5 sessions:
10)-126 (played in a $150 tournament at Mohegan, finished 18/97 no cash)
11)+767, 11 hours
12)+275, 12 hours
13)+685, 11 hours
14)+1401, 32 hours

Total bankroll: $4,975(+2,975)
Total hours:150.5
Current winrate: $20/hour

Online

Have not been putting in close to the volume online that I would like, I will be working more towards trying to get at least 16 hours a week online. I am not sure how to get graph stats from HEM on here so if anyone knows how I would appreciate any help.

Last 5 sessions:
16)-11.68, 1615 hands
17)-5.46, 192 hands
18)+.58, 288 hands
19)-7.40, 279 hands
20)+.92, 633 hands

Net Won: $-8.68
Total Hands:9,361
Current Winrate: -2.32/100 bb

Regarding poker books, I currently have Harrington on Online Cash Games on the queue. I have read it before but I think a rereading material is always a good idea. I've been reading some interesting threads regarding 3-bet sizing, and whether or not its more profitable to 3-bet smaller especially when the possibility of facing a 4-bet is high.

Also, here is a hand I played this past month that I wanted to take a deeper look into. Thought my play was ok except for the turn, but I was much more curious about how he played the hand.

Didn't get a chance to play last weekend because of the snow storm. Will be putting in a lot of hours this upcoming weekend, I haven't played in about 2 weeks and I am definitely itching to play. I definitely believe you learn more online obviously because of the increased volume you can put in, but sitting down shuffling some chips and being able to observe your opponents is the nuts. That's how I started playing so I guess that's just how I fell in love with the game.

    Online

Put in about 3k hands this week, which was in a lot less than the 16 hours I wanted so I will have to work on upping that number each week. Played well for the most part I think sticking to 4-5 tables is going to be my game plan going forward. I haven't really been using my HUD as much as I should or analyzing some of the regs tendencies so that will be next on the agenda as well.

I have also decided to put down Harrington's book and instead read Sklanky's Theory of Poker which I think I will find a lot more useful. I remember trying to read it a good while back and it was really just over my head. I think I have improved a lot since then so time to give it another go.

Also, I am seeing a lot of posts in threads that make absolutely no sense to me. It usually goes along the line of the OP making some sort of a statement that someone disagrees with. Now, instead of saying why OP's line of thinking is absurd, or even making an attempt to point OP in the right direction, they jump straight to berating them for simply not knowing any better. I am not going to rant, but it just seems to obviously go against everything that this forum was set up for in the first place.
So for anyone that has done this, think about what that post is doing--->Either post to help yourself, post to help others, or post to do both, everything else is just -EV.

    Here's this weeks graph

Also will try to find any hands to post soon that I had trouble with

Played a 6 hour session and a 28 hour session and had my biggest downswing to date of $1200. Was actually very happy with most of my session, although I think towards the end I faded a bit. End result was a +270. Played a mix of NL and PLO, ran bad at PLO but played well and ran well in NL.

    Online

Moved up to 10PLO briefly, then some poor playing mixed with variance has me back at 4PLO for the time being. Not much to be said except I need to play smarter next session.

A 28 hour session? How were you able to keep playing strong poker after that?

I didn't have work on President's day so I decided to take advantage of the extra time.

"So long as you remain a big favorite, you should stay, even if it means using toothpicks to prop up your eyes." -Sklanksy

I honestly just use my best judgement on whether or not I think sitting down is a +EV decision and don't keep too close of an eye on the hours. The -$1,200 downswing occurred about 5-6 hours in while playing mostly PLO, the rest of the session I played 1/2 NL. I think re-evaluating your play and mindset throughout the session helps a lot with playing longer sessions.

After a shot at 10PLO I am back grinding 4PLO and doing well over a few short sessions, I will post a graph soon.

Here is a hand I played today, very interesting if (after seeing the hand) you try and quickly guess SB's equity on the turn. I did this and then ran some trials and was not really close haha
