Played 6,653 hands today... Only played 5 hours or something too.

I can remember a while ago you saying you don't think you will ever play the nosebleeds, is this because of the risk of playing such high stakes or you just don't have the desire to play that high or another reason, thanks and good luck.

Hmmm, depends what you call nosebleeds really.

I asked the sports betting manager what I was down before I got my account banned for life, it's a figure I don't want to share publicly but that figure alone would be a bankroll for 50/100, and that is only on one site, albeit my main site for betting. So i'm probably down more on others included (which I also banned myself from). So if i never had placed a sports bet in my life, I'd be definitely rolled for 100/200, maybe even 200/400 at least for shots anyway.

But I can't change what has happened, I now don't bet at all, not even £50. So hopefully one day I can get my roll back up to the nosebleed level. Although I'm putting money aside frequently for a house/flat.

One day...

End of the first days grind in 2013...

Played about 13,000 hands (lol) never normally ever play so much, normal days are like 3-4k, but since I'm devoting my playing to Stars this year then can always 12-16 table with some nl500 zoom thrown in there.

Lost 15 buy-ins at 5/10 today in just under 4,000 hands... Pretty sick runbad there.

Won 10 buy-ins at the 2.5/5 zoom in 5k hands, and 5 buyins in 1k hands at 10/20. Made quite a bit at 3/6 too.

Earned 11,200 VPPs today too.

Finished grinding today as I woke up early and am going out for the evening. Will probably play after midnight though.

Quick update for the year.

I've learned a lot already - I've been 17/18 tabling most of the time, and tbh, I am no nanonoko! Sick skills to be able to win multi-tabling this (and more) amount of tables. So anyway, imo I have ran the worst i've ever run (bla bla bla) - but actually I think I have. At one point in the first 11k hands of my 5/10 this year, i was down $39k. Ran into AA like 15 times and lost most flips. Ran into countless sets/quads/straights/backdoor flushes etc too. Nevermind.

So I changed the table colour on stars (green to blue fwiw - i am superstitious), played on 12 tables instead of 18 and then came back and won 15 buyins in 2k hands at 5/10. I've played 34,500 hands or so on Stars this year already, won at a bb/100 of 0.6 and up $1880.

No more 13+ tables for me. Strictly 12 max. Earned 29,000 VPPs already this year too.

Just curious Coop, what kind of VPIP/PFR do you play? You don't have to give me an exact if you don't want, just an indication.

It depends on a lot of things, who is at the table, my position on the table, my mood, the number of tables I'm playing, the stakes I'm playing, the number of people at the table...

Presuming you meant 6max, I'd say anything from 26/22 to 30/25.
