I fully support you continuing your thread. If you're worried about posting too many hh, just post less of those and more about other areas of your life you are working on. My .02, but of course you should do what you feel is best! Nice way to end the year!

Flop is AJ3 with two diamonds. The guy who I doubled up leads out for $40. Hmmm. With two people behind to act, I just call. Reg is going to raise sets/two pair and I'm going to get away from my hand if he does. (Effective stacks were $525). Both other players fold.

Turn is an A. Now, I'm feeling really good, but I don't want to blow my opponent off his hand if he's got something. He bets $60. I just call.

River is a K. He bets $100. I shove for $400. He has a little less and says 'I can't fold this.' At this point, I expect him to turn over one of a few hands - AQ, AJ, 33 or even an A. Maybe a flush. To be honest, I don't recall the suit of the river but it might have been the diamond.

He has KJ.

One of the other regs at the table congratulates me on the gift (sarcastically) and says 'I wish someone would give me a gift like that.'

I was surprised by the call. He had another $200 or so behind. Could have easily folded.

I won a few more pots and eventually cashed out another nice profit.
That AK vs KJ is so delicious I just gained five pounds just reading it.
