About me:
At the age of 15 I entered independent studies (home school) because I couldn't stay in class for more than 30 mins. I grew up with a very poor family so I always found ways to make my own money. Around age 15-20 I made my way to about 40k from money schemes and street type stuff but all in all a honest living. At the end of 2010 I was blowing money like it was nothing and ended up getting robbed for about 20k one day. I got over that and got back up to about a 20k bankroll and then at the end of 2011 got robbed for the rest of my income. Right after that happened I probably had about 3K +/- to my name so started doing sports gambling which put me at -12K since I was middle manning as well and people couldn't pay up so I had to pay for them.
That was all in the last months of 2011, so all of January 2012 I was in debt and trying everything in the book to somehow get out of debt. I couldn't figure out a way whatsoever to get myself out this hole and I look at myself as a type of guy that could figure out any situation and overcome it.
Poker:
Being a poker pro has always been a dream of mine since I was a kid. When I first found poker I bought a poker table/books/cards/shuffler all this silly stuff because I loved the game so much. Also during home school I would always sneak into the Indian casino to play 1/2NL and would always do great.
Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year came really early this year compared to all the other years and I was used to having super high amounts of money and gambling big and having a great time. This year was the opposite since I was in debt, so I just stayed at home and didn't pick up any phone calls. Nobody really knows I'm in debt so I try to keep to myself
One of the nights during Chinese New Year by myself at home I went to a local 21 casinos with my friends ID and won about 900 playing 1/2/2NL.
Its been exactly 3 weeks and 1 day that I have gone to that local casino every single day and played poker. I have shown a +9k profit in the last 3 weeks I have been going. The only 2 days I lost was about 200$ 1 day and 100$ another day. After both those days the day after I won 1K+
I played 2/3/5 about 3 times and all 3 times came up over 1K+/- each time.
I am now so close to being out of debt but only have 200$ to play poker since I am paying off my debt after every couple days since they are constantly asking me for more and more and more.
Poker has been great to me lately and I feel blessed to have been this close to being out of debt because of poker. In general I always loved poker and since I was 15 always kept up to date with whats new going on in the poker world and kept doing research on how to be a winning player. I also think I am playing at a extremely high level due to my high level of research and work ethics. The last 3 weeks I have put my life into poker 24/7. Running good always helps as well
Goals:
Of course to get out of debt which is around 2-3K and after that build my bankroll up to 70K slowly but surely. Just grinding it out day by day. Getting out of the debt will be the hardest part in my opinion due to the fact my bankroll is very small and only have pretty much 2 buy-ins.
Today (2/13/12) Dood kept asking for 500 at least by the end of the day but I only had 170$ since I just paid a big part of the debt off. I went into the casino with my friends ID as usual and went on the 1/2/2 table knowing that if I lose this I'm done for. Next thing you know 3 hours later I come out with +420 for the night pay him off right after and now have about 90$ plus another 100 a friend paid from owing in sports gambling. That puts me at 190$ bank roll to play with.
Starting Debt: 12K
Current Debt: 3K
Current Bankroll: 190$
Wish me luck on this journey from rags to richs!
All in all, this is just my dream that will most likely not happen the way I plan it to... But hey, a man can dream
