BR at $6800


Helped by a win in a tournament last night - PLO hi/lo. interesting as I didn't think i was that good at it. maybe should play more. it was a $33 with 91 entrants.

BR now at $6400 - still on target but not running as well as I was last month.

BR now at $8700.

Up $2300 since last post(1 month ago) - helped a lot by stellar awards from stars and the $tournament I got from playing 235 FPP satellites to the $11 Sunday storm tournament.

Been playing many hours as I was off work March and April.

BR now at $8900 and have $300 of stellar awards still to claim so only $800 away from my target - only 5 months of the year up. Surely i can do it now.

For how much do you buy in at 50/1 limit holdem?

In LHE, you need only 12 big bets to buy in full (since on most sites, that all you can bet in one hand on all the streets combined).
At .5/1 this means 12$.

BRM indicates that you should have at least 300 big bets for any given level.

Well, I'd forgotten about this thread!

Surprisingly, I haven't made my challenge/target of sowing a profit of $10,000.
I withdrew $8,400 this year.
Much of that was from bonuses - Stars milestone bonuses for 100k and 200k VPPs.

The first half of the year was great but the other half not.
The idea of this thread was to be accountable for my actions at the tables and it worked. When I stopped checking in, I started tilting more, going past my losing limits etc.
The biggest area that I have to work on is 'discipline'(away from the tables too!).
I'm going to start a new thread for next year and highly recommend others do the same.
This time I'm going to check in regularly.
My target might be more this year.
