Deposited 20 USD on PS during first wave of pandemic. I just started playing micro NLH cash game and tournaments. Make it to 1 300 USD. Before two years I switched to PLO chash game, and I ****ing love this madhouse. Feel of brutal down swings, you know. Literally burning money on PLO ZOOM25. Down swing to 300 USD bankroll. Printing money on regular tables PLO5. Decent winning on PLO10. Actually playing primally PLO25 and shooting PLO50 when good game is running. Thinks getting interesting on those limits. So I wanna have journal and share my way.

Bankroll is 3 800 USD.

Strategic goal is to make 10 000 USD bankroll till end of year 2023. So I can play comfortably PLO50 and shooting PLO100.

Tactical goal is to play 250 000 hands till end of year and winning 10bb/100 on PLO25 and 6bb/100 PLO50 without rakeback.

So $3800 to $10k challenge?

Kind of but I grinded it from 20 USD as I wrote.

how are you studying?

Books, video on YouTube, podcasts. Lazy to study hands with solvers etc. I think in low stakes PLO is better to know fundamentals and try to exploit weak players as much as possible than GTO.

Last two months on PLO25.

I don't have complete graph because switch from PC to iMac and Pokercopilot to Pokertracker and now subscribed only for PLO version. Best decision at beginning was playing NL cash game full ring NL5 I had like 20bb/100 so no crazy swings. But boring only waiting for monsters.

Volume is good. 12 600 hands since beginning of challenge. Games are soft. Played vs huge whales. Incredible how many players can have crazy stats like 90 VPIP, 50 PFR, even saw 40 3BET!! Sadly I was running very bad losing lost of 3bet and 4bet pots vs fishes witch is frustrating. Am I only one who have big swings vs whales? Variation is crazy when people don't have fold button. Going to post some funny hands and hands where I played bad or not sure how to play.

During 2023 I got to $10,500. Current bankroll almost $10,000.

805 hours played since first post in April 2023. The main game was PLO50 winning 10.88 BB/100 without rake back. Shooting PLO 200 went wrong loosing 10bb/100. Break even on PLO 100.

I just quit my full time job after six years I felt burn out. This year will be all about poker.

The goal for 2024 is to win $40,000. I want to play 2555 hours on regular tables. With results PLO 50 10bb/100, PLO 100 4bb/100, PLO 200 2bb/100.
