i had an old bodog account (it's now bovada) and they sent me a email saying that they were going to close my account with $20 and change.
well i'm gonna play some poker and see if i can grind this thing to 1K.
i'm gonna play micro SNGs to build BR and go from there.
wish me luck...@ $27.

Depends It's actually not that difficult. I would say your first goal should be to turn that 20$ into 50$ give yourself some room to work with and once u hit 50$ bump it to 100$ then repeat the cycle in 50$ increments. 7weeks slow grind 3 1/2 weeks if your super solid but i don't know i am talking about. I'm just a lurking who tries to make 25$ a day from SNG

thanks...they have these "beginner" SNGs where they pay 4 places.
also triple up where the top 3 get paid the same $.
i'm also gonna play some $1 MTTs, hopefully I'll get a nice hit but we'll see.
up $7 now. not used to playing such low stakes.

$20 is a small starting bankroll, but it can be done. i haven't been on bodog (bovada) in over 6 months. are $1 sngs still the smallest?
Good luck to you, Pair Pressure! i had a thread where i tried to turn $100 to $1000 on bodog over last summer. got to over 700 and then cashed out 500 eventually and busted what was left on there.
i remember bodog being very soft compared to most other sites. i'll be rooting for you, man!

starting at 100 bucks is so much easier imo but, you can easily turn 30 dollars into 100

i live in the US so i'm not sure if Bovada will allow me to deposit any more money.
since FT and Stars is out for me, i guess this will be a good way for me to get back to playing solid poker.

US players can deposit on the Merge sites such as RPM, Carbon, etc. I just found out a couple of months ago myself, but I have had no issues depositing. I haven't played on Bovada since my migration to the Merge network, but I was having no problem depositing on there as recently as a couple of months ago. I hear that Bovada has found some legal troubles since, but not sure how that has affected US players.
RPM/Carbon, etc. reminds me of the good ol' PStars days (before Black Friday) as far as cash games (plenty of tables all the time), but I don't like their tournament schedule...it's just nowhere near as simple to look at and find what you want like Stars is.

the best way to build this BR.
Should I play micro SNGs (both and multi), .02/.05 NL cash, or micro MTTs?
Any suggestions?
