What should a 1/2 player watch out for when jumping to 2/5?
Local casino is having Moneymaker host/play for the weekend. He starts the night with a 2/5NL game.
Background:
- Hero is a 1/2 rec player
- Hero running good and/or playing good (9 consecutive 3x buy-in winning sessions in 2 weeks)
- Playing solid enough to show profits (easily making 10BB hourly), big wins are from stacking fish
Expectations:
- Get on the list early and buy-in for 100BB
- Play tight and be position/situation selective (9 handed)
- See/Experience a level of play I've not experienced before
- Hero's 1/2 play is pretty solid but expecting to have ups/downs or bust out
- Get a photo/autograph and have a story (flying to Colorado the next day to visit family and play in a home game)
