OK the title is a little dramatic. I wanted it to be eye catching even though this challenge is just a way to force myself to play some hands and be accountable for it.

I play HU 50nl. I'm running at 7BB/100 at my sickning small sample of 10K hands.
I hit a massive one night 10 buyin downswing in this sample playing against 3 total fish.
I will need to play over almost 40K hands at my currant winrate to achieve my goal.

Background
I'm irish,27 years old, work in the betting industry, I'm a recent dad and i'm struggling to fit poker into my life.
Iv got all the talent in the world at this game, 40 buyins for 50nl and no really time to grind it up.(modest arnt I )

Big Shot
OK, 2.5K issnt much of a big shot, but it might be my only shot of making something happen.
In 3 months time, Oct 2nd to be exact, The Ladbrokes Irish winter festival is once again coming to town.
Main event buy in is $500, its a 800+ player field that generates a prizepoll in excess of 250K (100K to the winner)
The other 2K is for the juicyest cash games of all time.
10 buyins at the 200nl games to start with where I hope to run good and play the 500nl games.
These games are super soft and if I run ok 10K would not be unreachable .
Ofc if I run super well in the tourney 100K issnt unreachable.


Staying focused on the now

So now i'm holding myself accountable, I have to put in the hands, I will make 2.5K for this venture
I will update this everyday and have lots of girraffs
