Too Much Sleep, Too Much Whale
Been very productive these past few days, finishing up all my errands like taxes and expenses, medical etc to the traditional, Chinese New Year cleaning of the house. Started experimenting with new cooking methods and gonna start exploring baking soon (getting a baking sheet). Recently got a blender, so gonna try to make more smoothie/shakes to save on those $25 boba-ubers every other day. I mean it is what it is, paying for someone to cook is saving time (where being productive, could technically pay for itself and more in $/time), but $1.5k-2k/mo food/grocery/ubereat bill is not good usage of money for two people, subjectively speaking.
Anyways, let's get to the poker. I slept really early like at 11pm yesterday, my body cant really adjust. So I basically kept waking up through the night, here and there. I forced slept. Though I saw the dream lineup in the middle of the AM. A new whale, never seen before. Was insane.
they were pretty light for the action, 2P+wrapflush vs 2P+flush, you'd expect a set. Like 2P, middling FD is getting crushed by a lot of combos. Esp if it goes 3 way, one hand is for sure dead if I come in. I folded, but would've scooped $15k.
^ Not my hand
Whale (L) in this hand 3!, folds, guy defends IP. Whale (L) cbets massive, 3/4 on a locked board. Guy then min-clicks him, leaving less than 1 SPR behind basically. Then this dude just straight rips. I mean Whale (L) basically blocks the bluffs of the villain, T, J, 9. This is probably the last hand he could choose to re-rip over even with a single T blocker.
That second three, was very annoying but humorous at the same time.

It's safe to say if I really volume in and grind, I could make over $1K in rakeback per day. Nowhere as insane as my previous private game, but solid for sure. I mean that's $100K+ in rakeback alone for me, if I can volume in for like just 4-5 months. Let's see how long this game last though, we'll see then. Fwiw I've seen charts of like JnadezPoker on GG, where his rakeback is like $50K in 2 months? But the guy probably 10x my volume with fast forward and hours put in.
