Set myself a decent challenge and keep myself motivated and on track for introduction about myself you can see here, if I hit my goal I will move up stakes, if I don't hit my goal I will run the challenge again until I get my target >3 bb/100
I will try and post my graphs daily (monthly and year to date on request)
Also will post some inner thoughts I have on the game as well as observations... I actually run really badly right now so I have hopium for a heater at some point.
So to start it off:
Yesterday's graph 14/01
Today's graph 15/01
Tilted a little bit today with people betting in 3bet pots and pinging their card on river. However I usually immediately sit out and only come back when I'm sure I stopped tilting. Results are good and today had a rush of run good at the end of the session where my hands held up on all-ins.

Reason: Added to my goal
Notes: I cut today's session short because towards the end everyone was just playing so so weird and confusing and it seems like everybody was spazzing on me, every time I won something I would lose it back in standard spots.
Fun Losing hands of session:
On the river literally the only spade card to come which will get me to lose my stack against his value range
River:(152.72 BB, 2 players) J SB bets 53.46 BB, Hero calls 46.48 BB and is all-in
Spoiler:
SB shows K K (Full House, Kings full of Jacks)
(Pre 81%, Flop 60%, Turn 68%) Hero shows Q T (Flush, King High)
(Pre 19%, Flop 40%, Turn 32%) SB wins 241.18 BB
Villian is an unknown reg his open 2x and 4bet range will be QQ,AK and sometimes bluffs like A5s,AJs,KQs,KJs. Considering I crush his bluffs and a bit meh against his value range and my AK was suited I opted to call. The turn could be a fold but given the price and factoring in he could have bluffs I called.
Villian wasn't a fun player had normal stats but not full stack. Usually these types of players when they small raise its either AA or some weird hand like AJ,AT,87... Anyway I have decent equity against his random bluffs and decided to just call if he did have AA. As the hand played out I decided not to thin value bet and you can click spoiler to see results.
BB shows A A (Two Pair, Aces and Jacks)
(Pre 82%, Flop 88%, Turn 77%) Hero shows Q Q (Two Pair, Queens and Jacks)
(Pre 18%, Flop 12%, Turn 23%) BB wins 27.68 BB
This hand, sometimes turn can be a bet to deny equity but again its only KJ,KT which will call or maybe AQ and either of them hands will only call 2 barrels. I'm only denying equity against FD but sometimes they get there like they did this time. However checking the turn was to trap and to call river to play into his bluffs and I will lose the same (1bet) versus value which beat me anyway.
Villian is a reg and why I decided to x/f and not range bet flop is because There isn't really any worse hands which will call my bet here and if I range bet and get jammed on I get denied a huge chunk of equity.... So seeing a free card allows me to play turn better. On turn he is really repping sets, 9T, two pair but literally all his value beats me... e.g. AJ,AQ and my best case scenario was he had AT,AK which I doubt would bet this large. So its either a nuts or bluff and again spot was marginal so I let it go.
Felt very meh when playing today so cut the session short... I really felt like I was going to lose so didn't want to play anymore. I made some bad decisions like the hand shown below hence why I didn't want to play anymore.
Most interesting hand of the day.
I think calling turn raise and then river bet was a mistake here. MP vs EP I really shouldn't expect decent villians to be overbluffing in this spot, as played his hand was probably AK, two pair or sets pricing me into making a sigh call on river.
98k hands
3.84 EV bb/100
3.06 bb/100 (real)
30 buyins profit so far.
On target for my winrate but I doubt I will hit 1M hands by end of may most likely it be end of june or mid july.... I don't want to force myself to do the hands since it will drop my win rate and my decision making. So I will play as normal and review when I hit 1M how to set my next challenge.
Good luck on your challenge and congratz on the grind so far!
I think so too that making your goal 3bb/100 for 1M hand is better than to force yourself to get to 1M by May. 1M hand by end of May is 240k hands a month which is way too much.
Even 150-200k hands a month is considered the high end of grinding.
You should be good for your winrate challenge as the more you'll play the become you'll become + the more stats you'll have on your opponents to also play better against them, 3.3 to 4bb/100 is expected at the end imho.

Thankyou and yeah I agree with you. Ever since I stopped chasing leaderboards my win rate and overall play has gone up. I focus just now on playing well daily and often when I tilt over a hand I have to stop playing so I don't spew and come back to the tables when I feel confident I won't do any stupid sh*t lol
The good run has stopped now and the last two days I have played horrible as well as ran badly. I closed it off with a losing day of -400bb all from just horrible plays so decided I will take a break this week until my mindset improves. It compounded from bad plays and running badly the day before and then made the current day into a horrible play session so thats when I know I should take a break.
Flop:(5.1 BB, 2 players) T 2 A BB checks, Hero bets 2.3 BB, BB raises to 8 BB, Hero raises to 21.7 BB, BB raises to 112.02 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 89.3 BB and is all-in
Turn:(227.1 BB, 2 players) 7
River:(227.1 BB, 2 players) J
Spoiler:
BB shows 2 2 (Flush, Ace High)
(Pre 18%, Flop 9%, Turn 23%) Hero shows A A (Three of a Kind, Aces)
(Pre 82%, Flop 91%, Turn 77%) BB wins 222.6 BB
Fish calls and flat calls 4bet back raise with 98 and gets there lol.
I cut the session short after taking a break for awhile and playing horrible yesterday. Came back to tables today and my hands held when I was the favorite 70%+ however lost a pot when I was 70% favorite and chopped a pot when I got money in with 87% equity so decided to call it a day since I recovered from yesterdays beating and it seems I am running normally again.
Will slowly pick up vol tomorrow or next day but my focus now is just on making few mistakes and not playing horrible.

Fun hands
Fish cold calls 3bet so yeah I just bet bet for value here nothing much can do, ran it twice and split pot.
BB shows T T (One Pair, Tens)
Board #1 (Pre 18%, Flop 24%, Turn 14%)
(Straight, Jack High)
Board #2 (Pre 19%, Flop 25%, Turn 14%)
Hero wins 99 BB BB wins 99 BB
Villian is a bad reg, looking back I should have shoved river or raised turn and shoved... Really thought if he had AA here he be shipping always on river and I decided to trap and play into his bluffing range because yeah lol he is a bad reg and not a winner.... I am sure he will have more bluffs in this line as well.
Hero shows Q Q (Three of a Kind, Queens)
(Pre 18%, Flop 90%, Turn 95%) MP shows A A (One Pair, Aces)
(Pre 82%, Flop 10%, Turn 5%) Hero wins 115.5 BB
Splash pot... Decided on river to trap and call a shove since I win versus all his bluffs but I am losing anyway if he had a better J or pinged the A on the river so there is no value in me betting but he has lots of natural bluffs here since I unlock all his pair and gutshot draws as well as flush draws. So trapped and it worked out.
I got a few -15 buy-ins days and it didn't feel good, but I still feel like it get easier to overcome each time.
Good luck man, any updates?
Few days into Feb I had a -7 buyin downswing session over 2k hands then after that I just ran good and felt I been playing better than last month. Made less mistakes and tilt control was way better. Whenever I get 2 outed I instant sit out and come back when I feel my emotions are better and it helped my game alot. Currently balancing vol with playing well... trying to balance the two and get 100k hands minimum for Feb...
Anyway for Month feb so far. On GGPoker I actually moved from worst run (Which was stuck there for like 700k hands) to bad run now lol....
So far was running well until last few days where I just ran QQ into KK, KK into AA so many times.
Had another 8-9 buyin downswing but overall for the month running above EV and running good.
Still playing well I say B+/A game most of the times and when I lose a stack to a cooler or some stupid play I instant sit out which has help me mitigate my tilt and spew.
thankyou, I think in March I am going to aim for 200k hands in the month.... I am getting much more confident each month as I keep slowly improving spots where I been losing money and my game has changed so much within the space of 8 months!!!
Soon I will post Feb results together with current year and compare Feb vs Jan.
Against a reg and I luckboxed the river.... however if it didn't come a K and I checked and he shoved I would have snapped folded...
Rarely do I play Aces this way but against regs who arent gonna stack off with top pair its better to set traps and see how they bet
fold, fold, CO raises to 2.5 BB, fold, fold, Hero raises to 10 BB, CO calls 7.5 BB
Flop:(20.5 BB, 2 players) K J 8 Hero checks, CO bets 7 BB, Hero calls 7 BB
Turn:(34.5 BB, 2 players) K Hero checks, CO bets 23.5 BB, Hero calls 23.5 BB
River:(81.5 BB, 2 players) K Hero checks, CO checks
Spoiler:
Hero shows A A (Full House, Kings full of Aces)
(Pre 81%, Flop 11%, Turn 9%) CO shows J J (Full House, Kings full of Jacks)
(Pre 19%, Flop 89%, Turn 91%) Hero wins 77 BB
Again I got lucky on river but as the hand played... Usually I'm not stacking off when I'm UTG and I call hit TPTK and normal reg villian shows strength. Decide to just check down, if he jammed the river I would most likely have folded.
Posting End of Feb Results (Will post year to date in next post)
Running 26 buyins above EV... can't complain. However compared to January I actually was much more card dead. I got murdered in 4bet setups and also folding to 3bets on flop was just insanely low for most part of the month leading to a bigger red line bleed...
FEB 97913 Hands
EV BB 2.26
BB 4.99
Profit EV 22 buyins
Profit Real 48 buyins
199,478 Total Hands
EV BB 3.15
Real BB 4.225
Profits (EV) 63 buyins
Profits (Real) 84 buyins
I won't go into too much in depth analysis but I tell you something interesting with rush and cash format you are basically break-even at best with all-ins.... So don't really count on how much you win with all-in for your game.
In Feb my EV BB was lower than in Jan however I made improvements in significant spots which I was making more money per hand than in Jan to list, I have a much more data analytical format of my data but I won't give out all my secrets but to list where I improved my game in Feb....:
calling 3bets
3bettor and double barreling
cold caller
calling 3bets in EP/MP vs Late position
calling 3bets in CO/BTN vs Blinds
