I agree with this.

One major factor being a 'winning' player is playing more when you're running/playing well and playing less when running/playing badly.

I agree 100%, and I have been guilty of this as well.

It is something I am working on, but it is sometimes so easy to just play 1K hands, go up 4-5Bis and call it a day, which is just silly because I am a player who totally thinks "long term/in the long run " so to even have this mentality of " booking a win " is rather silly. Sometimes it is important, if you have been running poorly to take this train of thought, but more or less, you should be doing what CliffLee said.

GL OP, you have a lot of people in here giving some solid advice, and we are behind you 100%....knock this one out of the park my friend!

The question is how will you respond when you hit a 10-20 BI downswing? Thats likely to happen especially if you putting in that kind of volume. Some of the regs at those levels will adjust to your play and make it a bit more difficult on you as well.

Many people who do the insane prop bets over in the BBV threads play well for awhile but the "grind" gets to them and their play deteriorates. Throw in a downswing and you could be in for some major problems.

Why not just focus on getting better at the game and moving up in levels where you wont have to play so much to make your income needs? Earning $150 a day at $1-2 is not even 1 Buyin a day and obtainable if you put in the time and effort to improving your game.

Also I think its important to spend some time each day reviewing your play. Thats going to be hard to do if you are spending all your time playing. It would be kind of like shooting free throws all day just to make a certain number of them without taking the time to examine your form, your release, followthrough, etc

Playing your 'A' game for 2000 hands a day is MUCH easier for most people than playing your 'A' or even 'B' game for 10,000 hands a day.

You obviously have to move up if you want to earn $150 a day, unless you want to put in some ******edly high volume.

Poker as a main source of income is dangerous. Expect super variance.
