150$ into 10K$ STT challenge by Cares37 150$ into 10K$ STT challenge by Cares37

Hello again,
after few months of silence I decided to make a new challenge. I was a bit lazy(also I want to play a different format) and I need to get back in the game. I want to become good at SnGs and I want to do it from the bottom. I heart, that the variance is huge in this game so again I will keep 100BI rule and most likely I won't play bigger than 15Usd. Traffic looks solid so I would like to finish this challenge until the end of the year and prepare for 2015. You can follow my results on Sharkscope. I will be posting some hands here, results updates and maybe some "interesting things".

Site: Pokerstars
SN: Cares37
VIP: Bronzestar
BR: 150USD
Game: NL Holdem 6max hyper-turbo SnG
Goal: 10K$ in PS cashier

Subbed. Just got done reading your MTT challenge start to finish. ****ing amazing bud. I wish you all the success. How many you playing at a time?

Is it 150 to 10k pre rakeback? Couse these bad boys are nothing but a rake eaters. And playing them with bronze star, or anything less than supernova is a waste of time and effort. But your previous challenge showed us that you're not afraid to waste time in micros, when you could simply beat higher limits, so GOOD LUCK, gonna follow this one too.

Thanks. If you mean tables, I can see myself playing 8-12(probably no more), but now I am playing 6-8.

Yes, I tried enjoy my life a little bit more, but I didn't win i a lottery so I just saved it and spend on my daily life. I played these hypers in last couple of months but I haven't played a lot of them. I like the speed, it's short and still beatable I think. At micros I will need a big ROI and at higher stakes volume for rakeback. I will start with 1,5Usd.

Thanks man. Obviously I will need rakeback. I would like to become a supernova, but I am not sure, if I am able to do it this year. Also I want to become strong at any NL Holdem format, that's why I did the last challenge and it's same with this one. Even though I had some success in the past I don't feel like a strong player yet.

Hi guys,
I haven't played as much as I would like to, but I have run well since the start of the challenge, so I can't complain. The 1,5Usd 6max HT limit is ok, there are a lot of fish and it's fast. I reached chrome star status this week and I am slowly getting to silverstar and the first VIP SW bonus. I hope I will continue beating these and then I will be able to move up to 3,5Usd level. Also I want to mention this Wh@t is icm? guy. He is literally on every table. It's insane how much he is playing. He is not bad but he dosn't have big winrate. At last I hit 1 golden sng and I won it so I was pretty happy with 23Usd for just 1 sng. :-)

Stts played: 721
Bankroll: 233,64Usd
ROI: 7,46%
VIP: Chrome star

Thanks. It's a new promotion on pokerstars. I won around 21Usd in 1,5Usd sng. Pretty nice bankroll boost.

Don't link to SS graphs, it uses our daily searches, don't be lazy to upload
Also I asked about what is icm guy 36tabling couple weeks ago, people trolled me, saying it's 2$ sngs and it's nothing impressive.

Sure, I'm gonna post HM2 graphs after each buy-in level with ev, but during the level I just send a link. In sngs(aspecially hypers) you can see the progress only after few thousands of sngs so that's why.

I just mentioned him because I felt like playing only heads-up sngs against him, because we somehow ended up HU on 3 tables and I was 10tabling. Obviously it's not that impressive on 2Usd sngs, I believe I have an edge on him so I don't mind playing him(he has around 1% ROI). I think he is around 3rd place in count of sngs this year(because he reset his stats), so he is pretty sick .

Thanks for your kind words. One of the reasons why I am doing this is to inspire other players. My motto is: Anyone can do it.
Resultwise, I will post my graph here, when I stop playing 1,5s. I actually thought about it and came up with strategy for moving up. If I win 100 buy-ins
at each level then I think I can beat the level and move up. I will use rakeback money from battle of planets, golden sngs, VIP Stellar rewards, FPPs 6max HT sattelites(I decided to play 235fpp sattelites, because I think it's the best wasy to spend fpps) etc. for better adapting to a new buy-in level and I feel like this strategy can work really well for me, because I hate, when I lose like 10 Buy-ins, which is pretty standard at this game and I have to move down. Sorry, if it's too long

Thanks, I will try to have bigger volume. I almost didn't play the first week of this challenge.

Hi guys,
I am done with 1,5Usd level. I won 100 buy-ins and some rakeback money so I want to move up. This limit wasn't too tough. I tried to play as good as possible to have a big ROI. I started 8tabling and at the end I was 12tabling. I played standard ABC game + Push/fold. I also tried to exploit some leaks in my opponents game. I had a little downswing at the end but after that huge upswing it was ok. I am looking forward to 3,5Usd level and I hope I will retain solid ROI and volume.

1,50 Usd level:
STT played: 1400
ITM: 38,4%
ROI: 7,14%
Net winnings: 149,94 Usd

Graph:

Looks really good!

Good luck on the next level!

Will follow, looks good
