I've dropped my other PG & C thread because my goals have changed and the thread is no longer applicable.

My bankroll has been crushed. I went from being a winner at 25nl/50nl to being forced down to the bottom. I feel I've got a pretty solid grasp of micro 6max games and I think this goal is very reasonable.

I started the year with the intentions of making supernova at pokerstars. I was playing 9-tables of 6max nlhe mostly at the 25nl level.

I've reshaped my game for RUSH poker and will now use a much more standard TAG style to beat these games.

I have rakeback at fulltilt and should be able to get blackcard. RB will be included in this goal. I'll be playing 150,000 hands over the next 30 days to make this happen. I won't be moving past 25nl RUSH over any point.

Bankroll Rules:
I'll be using a 25/20 (move up/move down) bankroll system. This is extremely aggressive for rush given the crazy swings but I'll drop down so I still have 40 buy ins for the level below. Again, I'll only be moving up to 25nl up to $1,500.

lol thanks man. I believe this some days.. not yesterday haha. Played a bit this morning and won a buy in. At work today so won't get a 5k hand day in. Hope for ~3,000 hands. I've now played ~11,000 hands at the 5nl rush 6max level. I've beat it at 4.5bb/100 + the 2bb/100rb or whatever it equates to. I have no idea what my true win rate would be at this level through 100k hands or whatever but I think the micro RUSH games are definitely beatable. I've been thinking of various note taking strategies and ways to approach the games over the last few days. Couple things to do that I think are +ev.

1. pre-session go to the lobby and mark all players playing 4-tables. Likely these are the regs.
2. take what notes you can during the session (this is tough of course).
3. in 20,000 hand intervals go through database and make notes on players you have played a bunch of hands with based on the showdowns you missed during gameplay.

I'll add to this list as I learn more about the dynamics of these games. I'm still optimistic I can build up a bankroll over this 30 day period. I have rakeback of ~$50 coming Friday.

Noob question: Can I humbly ask what's your rakeback deal on FTP, or is it just your FTP cleared bonus.

I only started playing on FTP 3 days ago so I just have the 27% rakeback from rakebackpros.com. My rolling ftp average is 15/500 for blackcard so hopefully I can get blackcard other the next 3 months.

goodluck with you challenge man. the swings at rush can be crazy. im currently at 25NL 2 tabling taking a shot and it can be sick.

Man, I'm experiencing crazy swings. I think a lot of mine are because the action is so fast I let one mistake lead into another and the downswing builds on itself. It is easy to correct 'in theory' but at the tables it is more difficult than it sounds.
you playing 6max or full ring? why not 4 tables? I don't find the ability to play A game any different b/w 2 and 4 tables. I've only played ~1,000 hands of 25nl rush. I'd like to hear more about your experience with the games.

Full ring just for the sole purpose of more fish. and i was playing 4 tables but my bankroll right now is a little scary for 4 tables since im only around $500. im just taking a shot and i might play 2 25NL and 2 10NL. I just made a new thread on here for my rush and will be updating it today after my session. I actually have had some good results at 25NL over like 20K hands or so like a 7.5bb/100 but i just withdrew some money so my bankroll is a little small but its deff a beatable game. I kind of find 10NL to be a little tighter and the people at 25NL are prettty much the same skill with a little more bluffing.

This is good to hear. I've played in the range of 150k-200k hands at reg tables 25nl but almost no rush. I'm going to wait to $625 to play 25nl and drop back down at $500. I don't plan to make any cashouts until I have at least 60 25nl buy-ins. I'll definitely follow your thread. I want to hear about other's experiences at rush.

Yeah i don;t plan on cashing out anymore for a while it was just to buy an xbox lol. I really want to get to 50NL because i have played a little there and from my little experience there the regs dont want to give you credit for anything and pay you off or just try and bully you around and you can get some sick money from bluffs they try. But 4 tabling is nice being able to get in around 1.3k hands an hour. I was thinking about 5-6 tabling to get some sick volume but idk how profitable that would be. Rakeback would be amazing though 6 tabling wouldn't you agree?

Yeah the rb would be insane. Of course you can only play 4 tables of a given stake. I guess you could play 4 25nls and 2 50nls or something. You get a few more hands per hour playing full ring than 6max just because you are folding more. I've found I get roughly 1,100 hands/hour 4tabling 6max. I think with the first tier of black card you get about 38% effective rakeback which is about equal to supernova on stars but much easier to get. Based on this it looks like microstakes rush is really an ideal rakeback situation. Even if you b/e at 50nl I think you make like $22/hr. That is what I read on citizenwind's cardrunner blog I think.

Thats awesome for just rakeback. So when your blackcard you get more rakeback? I havn't really looked into it but how does that work because i deff am looking ot get blackcard soon hopefully.

Well you can clear the cash bonuses. There are a few good threads on 2+2 explaining it. I can't link now b/c I'm on my iPhone but if you just search 'blackcard' it's easy to find. blackcard is great at the micros but as you rake more your % rakeback actually goes down which is ridiculous. At 50nl though you get 38-40% assuming you have 27% from an affiliate combined with blackcard.

Oh thats pretty sweet and is that 4 tabling 50NL? but ill look that up now anyway because i want to get to 50NL so bad haha and everything will be a lot easiar such as blackcard and getting points and what not. Just had a sick session 4 tabling 25NL, played for almost an hour got in 1.1k hands and made $68 which basically all came in the last 50 hands lol i hit some monsters and got AA like 3 times in 1 minute taking down some nice pots.
