Ummm really haven't thought about it. I need like $1.5k every month to pay for rent, food (without thinking too much about what I', buying) etc. Though I also want some extra cash for savings. I'd prob be fine with something like 2.5k :S

Last week I started playing HU SNG mainly because of this thread.

You're welcome to give me some tips that might jumpstart my learning curve because now I'm just clicking buttons LOL

Yeah, I heard Garlicious is really good at button clicking, definitely one to ask about it.

Well if you think about it, clicking buttons isn't that bad. You are always either 50% or 33% to make the optimal decision right from the start on any given street. If you have any knowledge at all, the odds improve of you making correct decision.

Advice:
Follow brm, always
When you know you're beat, fold (I know, but I do this like 20% of the times)
Pokerstars is rigged, and they like when you post savers of their pros.
Fold turn IP
Fold river IP
Never fold JTs pre no matter what

I was just trying to point out that I don't have a clue right now if my play is bad or not I just do what I think might be the best option and since "garlicious" as you call him seems to know his stuff I thought maybe he had some good tips for someone that's giving these HUSNG a shot.

I was just trolling him, no hard feelings. Send him a game or two of yours and I am sure he'll help you with some general guidelines.

Im very bad with tips tbh and still feel like im not in a position to hand out tips, since Im afraid to give bad advice.

But just some very general and basic advice that is still very valueable imo and to be taken serious

- follow brm and never take crazy shots
- 1 table for longer than you want to
- for learning basic preflop play i like creating own charts to make it "stick"
- try getting a good idea which boards are good to barrel and xr etc
- mark a ton of hands and go through them after a session, post them in forum or to friends on skype who are better than you if you're unsure
- get a good hud
- never make decisions in game based on tilt


Edit: didn't see Kobmish post. Yeah if you send me a few games I can see if I can find any leaks/something you can do better

BR management: I'm using a 50BI rule (move up when I have 50bi for next level and move down when I only have 35 left) Too aggro for a newby?

For the rest I'm actually trying to do the same.
I just play one table.
Not yet making charts but trying out different opening / limp ranges based on charts I can find on the interwebz

Marking hands is tough since I'm just starting out and then all hands should be marked as I'm always doubting my play (even if I win).

Thx for offering me help in reviewing some of my sessions. I will keep that in mind.

I do have one more question. Do you think someone that is only playing 20 to 40 games a day can make a profit with hypers given the high variance?

Anyway I have my own thread out here so I guess I should stop hijacking yours. Feel free pass by now and then to check my progress.
