Day 5

Overall graph:

Daily graph:

Very annoyed at last part of session. Was tired the last 1k hands or so yet kept playing while watching jcarver's stream which isn't a good idea to begin with lol.

With regards to the thread, I will keep it going with a new short-ish time frame, to make sure I don't neglect updating. I looked at my lifetime 50z graph (spoiler below) which I quit playing longer than a year ago. As is, we're down 30bi in ev and new aim in this thread is to make it b/e in ev. (rbgrinder itt)

Spoiler:

Hands:

Could've folded at some point maybe especially since it's 50z, I don't think he's gonna be bluffing here particularly often, but if AT/A8 are raising and he has ATo in his range... folding would be terrible. This was the last hand I played though and figured ok im done for today

        Think you should level yourself a bit less. Readless, the average 50z reg doesn't really turn hands into bluffs, like you said.

        9 10 hand:

        Think we can go either way, calling for that price seems fine given your position. But with that stack sizes I don't mind 3betting, especially when the players in the blinds are passive.

        Post flop play seems a little bit spewy to me since villain has all strong hands in his range: KJ, JJ, 10Q, KK even maybe if he slow plays.
        He also has KQ and AK, which don't fold against that turn bet mostly. So do all his FD's, which we don't block.

        Check back seems the best option, although we are expecting to lose most times on showdown.

        As played, river shove seem a bit dicey. Mostly concerned how much value combo's we have here. Do you shove KK, JJ here too? Or are you capped to Q10 only?

        Yeah, I'm not sure exactly how good/bad I played that hand. I bet turn with the intention to jam river and figured it was a decent spot blockerwise etc. No, I'm otr not capped to QT, I obv wouldn't shove AK/AA however KK yes. JJ likely. Anyway, it was more exploitative... not sure how well though. But I don't think balance is very important on these stakes anyway. Thanks for the feedback!

        As an update for day 6... I played live the whole day, so 0 online hands.

                JJ - A is actually the worst River in the deck for you, maybe you can fold on that card as it brings in so many straights/flushes. Whilst he shouldn't have too many, if he has K3 then he is gonna have like 60+ hands that beat you. Either way I think it might be a fold, on phone tho so I can't check. Nice day tho, gl

                Yeah, he had fishy stats though so I figured I'd just call down in case he was doing something silly, also can discount straights a bit as he may raise flop & the diamond being A makes a lot of flushdraws ott impossible so I felt fine calling

                First 'real' losing day since I started this thread iirc, can't complain haha. I feel like these posts get repetitive though & it doesn't really add a lot of value to update daily compared to every 3 days or so, so from now on I'll be updating once every few days.

                Some hands:

                Assuming AQ in his range and no AA (spoiler alert) river bet should be fine... If AA is there he has more winning hands.

                      Update!

                      Couldn't resist jumping in some 100z, feeling fine about my game and figured I shouldn't be wasting time at 50z when there's no reason for it. I do wanna and will fix my 50z graph... However I'll save that for when I feel bad about my game, as playing lower than the game I think I beat anyway makes no sense 'just to fix my graph'.

                      Had a convo with some friends about it and it's kinda silly how I'm fine playing 5/10 live and don't mind dropping a couple k in that game, yet feel bad losing online. I know the reason is that I'm convinced I beat these live games and if I just put in the time I'll win. Online that's less apparent. I should probably work on that as it's a rather big leak to have, to feel bad about losing some money online, that's relatively insignificant, and for that reason play lower. Part of the reason I played lower for a bit was cause I have some monetary goal irl and am close to reaching it; Therefore I rather not take high variance spots. That being said... 100z is not exactly high variance compared to live anyway.

                      Anyway, moving on to more interesting stuff!

                      Today's graph, first day back at 100z:

                            Very nice graph today!!! So jelly man, cannot wait to get to 100z, IMO that stake is where you can really start making some $ if you do well.

                            KQcc I dislike the flop float, and if you are gonna float, why not stab turn?

                            TT looks very close without reads, although I am guessing you had some?

                            KQcc - we have 2 overs and all the backdoors in the world as well as a good board for us. I defo think we have to defend, raise is an option but I don't think we want to fold given half the deck improves us well ott. Didn't stab turn as at the time I figured we'd be repping very thin on the A, however we do have a good hand for it, in hindsight I think stab turn is good. At the time I figured he could be trying to pot control w/ Ax, however we have the best blockers.

                            TT - ofc had some reads

                                  Had a discussion with a friend and concluded 2 tabling is better than 4 for improving (no ****), but I don't really feel like 2 tablin 100z. Therefore, dabbled about in 200z again the past couple days and ran sick.

                                  100z:

                                  200z:

                                  Obviously running sick... I have no idea if I'm b/e let alone winner in 200z, however am enjoying playing it at least for as long it'll last! I am changing some things in my game again which I'm actually fairly happy about, maybe what I need to beat 200z longterm eh.

                                  Hands:

                                  Don't really see how I get more money in... Slightly tilting to not get more based on the action + his hand.

                                        Ah haha right, I thought you somehow recognized these HH's and were there in that 2/5 game as well. I didn't win a 20k pot but it's a fun story.

                                        I was playing a normal 2/5 ~1k avg stack when a certain guy came who decided to.. Literally give everyone action for whatever raise size.

                                        The first hour it was just lots of bluffing, afted that also calling everything.
                                        I basically played 3 hands vs him, it's been like 2 months but this was the main line in them;

                                        First hand;
                                        Villain is bb, I open KQ utg, co and both blinds call.
                                        Flop KJTr
                                        Checks around
                                        Turn 7
                                        Villain xc 100
                                        River T
                                        Villain xr my 250 to about 1200, I call and win vs 8/9 high.

                                        Second hand;
                                        Utg raises, gets a call, sb villain just jams about 5k.
                                        I wake up with KK 2500 deep and hold vs Q2s.

                                        Third hand;
                                        Open AA utg to 15, btn 3b to 75, villain coldcalls bb. I 4b to 2000, btn fold villain flat.
                                        Flop Q94hh
                                        Villain puts me allin for ~3k more.
                                        We hold vs apparantly flushdraw.

                                        Fourth hand;
                                        There was 1 more hand where I had AKo and I'm 90% sure to get action had I jammed, but i pussied out for not wanting to play a 20k+ flip with like 65%.

                                        Villain dropped about 60k iirc, quite the punt
