Starting this blog to regain some confidence / achieve some goals.
Background:
I'm a 21 years old student from The Netherlands, studying International Business with only my thesis left to write, so plenty of free time. Currently grinding 2/5/10 live and 100z online. I made a PGC before titled 'Reaching 200z and 5/10 live', and, well, I am confident I beat basically any 5/10 live lineup and... I reached 200z for a good day or two so even though the thread died, the dream didn't! I quit playing 200z as I don't believe I beat it yet.
I actually took a semester in Singapore this year and since online poker is illegal there and I didn't play live, my year effectively started around June.
Point of thread:
I am mainly writing this thread to track my progress in making $1k pre-rb at 50nl / 50nlz. I am 100% sure I beat these games and hope it won't take too long. I might keep the thread alive for 100z/live goals after. The reason I'm playing 50nl is cause I know for sure I beat it and I feel I definitely don't play my best game atm, so it seems a good break.
Really surprised by the level of play on both 50nl and 50nlz. I played over 300k hands on these combined and definitely remember them as tougher than how they seem today, also when I played 50nl I believe the average waitlist was about 5 people, now it's like 15 and people are actually seatscripting
Feels like a massive difference compared to 100z for sure.
Some hands, I don't wanna flood updates with hand histories so will post a max of 3 per update.
This one was interesting. Could bet flop, don't think I want to fold river as played considering how I block 2 8's and he could have a variety of bluffs...
He 4bet big-ish pre, checked the turn, snapjammed the river. I'm gonna guess it's always AA.

Also I don't get your line with QQ. Seems strange and hard to balance with.

This was against someone playing 17/11 with 3% 3b over 300 hands, hence I didn't 4b/call pre, what I usually would. After he checked the flop I figured he must have AK / JJ or some weird trap w/ KK/AA however mainly AK. I agree, I have no idea how to balance it etc, but also don't think balance matters against him anyway. I just checked to see an A/K ott and stack him, as there were no scarecards ott anyway against what I perceived his range to be. When the T came and he bet, I had no idea what he should have aside from TT... I guess it was just a random spaz.

Oh FML, i thought there were not fullhouse chances, didnt see that 5 on the river
Not sure about this one... Slightly afraid he may overplay a lower flush yet hard to imagine him checking that ott... Also, reason I check turn was to have some flushes in my xc range. Dunno. Could argue I can have some 99/JJ.
That's a wrap! Found some more heat and hit $1k. Going to stay at 50 to hit $1k in ev I think, after that I'll decide to keep this thread going with some new goal or just call it a success and move on. Probably going to keep it going though.
To make 20 buyins I played about 7.5k 50nl hands & 12k 50nlz. Concluded that multitabling(12-16) 50nl is fairly bad for my redline, but could be sample size issue.
