Pretty meh day, really didnt feel like grinding but someone convinced me too, was down about 1.2k at one point but managed to rostucko it. Probably the worst ive played since being at 200nl, was way to spewy pre and too stationy post. Taking rest of night of though i think. Might not grind until weekend and just to feel a bit more refreshed.

            enjoying reading the thread. They are some nice results for first year of taking poker serious.
            Any chance you can explain why this is a bad jam?

              From what I can see he usually wont have QQ+, AK as he will 4b pre. So that only leaves QKs or maybe KQo as well depending on his stats. So shouldn't jaming fold out basically everything besides KQ?
              Cheers

              ta, ive took poker semi-seriously in the past, but i kept on taking breaks so i did know some of the fundamentals before the year, its just last year i played all way through

              errr, cant really remember who villain was at the time. but pretty sure i would still give him some AK/QQ combos. It isn't ever bad to have a bluff in your range ofc (and i prob used the wrong wording, its prob fine but probably isn't necessary to jam)but he still has all sets, AK, KJs floats, 89 hit, KQ. Not sure if he even folds AQ. The hands im trying to get him to fold, some of them may fold the turn, (and i block 99/JJ). I personally dont think im getting him to fold 50%+ of his range, could be wrong though. (and most importantly, spidey senses told me not to jam, but i did anyway.)

              cheers for the analysis mate The range I was assigning is a bit too tight.

              Thought the heater was ending and i was going to crash down. Had to ban myself from stars for 24hours to make sure i didn't play on friday as i was completely burnt out, and at one point i couldn't think of what hands i should be opening. Felt a lot more refreshed after the day break though

              Will prob need to selfban for a week again as i have an exam next friday which i have never attended a lecture for. Bit screwed for it.

              Today was a $1.5k day, turned Run it twice on but kept on losing them both but w/e, ran quite good in the end

              So im 7.15k+ for the month;

              This guy is in my skype group and i pretty much new exactly what he was going to do if i checked back flop, so snapped river.

                      seems a bit of a coincidence you finished your session exactly as I came on.

                        Soo not the greatest week or so, Playing pretty atrocious, feel like im starting to make mistakes of what i did a few months ago which i stopped which is quite annoying.

                        Pretty annoying hh, obviously an awfulawfulawful bluff by me (especially river)and it just gives me waay to many combos of bluff to value by the river. But vs this specific reg, hes only ever seen me 3barrel with nuts/value hands, and seen me c/f or check to showdown with bluffs or weak sdv. And ive 3barrell'd him in 3b pot before where he made a redic call down and i shown nuts so he should know that i see him as someone who calls down light. Assuming people think like you do is a big mistake and makes you lose $$ in the long run, sigh (this is why i always struggled with normal table poker). From his eyes he prob thinks i only rep 12 combos so meh.

                          Biggest pot in my life, same guy as ^^. should be a fold if i know he has all combos of JT (which at the time, i didnt think of, which i should of knew of the previous hand having Ato ) so thought if he jams like one/two combo of KK i prob could call. Think i should fold though as its soooo unlikely he bluffs in this spot but w/e. Tank cryed so hard!. Sizing is up for criticism, didnt have the foggiest of what sizing to make throughout the hand. Think every street should be bigger (with pre a lot more).

                                Haven't updated in awhile, got my results back for my first (important) term at uni and ended up with 61% average but think i need to retake one as i got 31% in it . Have barely played poker this month, too busy doing uni coursework which is a bit of a pain.

                                Last month ended pretty badly, semi-tilt played 400nl and didnt go too well (lost 2k$) but w/e. The month was like 4.8k i think with rakeback IIRC so i can't complain too much. And was 5k$ for ev:

                                This month so far...
