Currently 18/20 in the 16.50 $12,500 gtd on ACR. $2,719 up top. This is the one we finished twice in two times in the past 4 days. Been nursing <20bb for the past 3 hours Real struggle but we are still alive. Time to run hot now again. Had a min cash in $55 dollar 7.5k on chico. Bricked everything else. Didn't play too may tournaments today though. Not feeling it so stopped regging early in the session. Maybe a day off tomorrow.

Super happy with the result. I was short stacked for the last 3 hours of the tournament and am very proud of how I played. Delighted to say the least. Really had to grind in this tournament. I have had a lot of FT's in the past few weeks where I had big stacks coming in. Something about this one made the result feel even better.

There was a very weird dynamic when we got 3 handed though....It was me, a Brazilian(not good) and an Austrian(played well although his sharkscope stats don't reflect his play at all). Anyways, the Brazilian was down to <20bb, I had 25-30bb and Austrian has 45bb. Then the Brazilian gets disconnected.... I am tanking sb vs Brazilian bb. I have 67cc in limped pot on 986 I mean I bet or c/r this flop a lot. Felt scummy but i bet and take it down. The Austrian guy is snap making decisions lol. He wants to blind the guy down as quick as possible. So then I start limping my button into Austrians BB( I think this is good strat anyways we are 25bb eff I would play this way anyways). He's snap raising me. He wins a decent sized pot with J7o vs my JT on 778xx. He snap made it 3.5bb over limp. The brazilian comes back with 10bb and I'm in BB with 20bb. Vamo folds and Austrian opens to 2.5bb. I debate call and jam and ultimately went with jamming A7hh. He snaps AKdd and we lose on AQ65J and out in 3rd. I can definitely flat here and play post vs a weak range/preserve stack and find a bunch of +ev hands vs the Brazilian. However, I think we just have so much fold equity that i'm happy to take down the pot pre 85%+ of the time.

Played a short (mostly) satty schedule yesterday trying to get a venom ticket Got smashed. $-371 on the session. Felt like I played well just didn't win the flips in the turbo satties. Subscribed to GTO Wizard so trying to get used to that as it's much different to DTO. Will need a few hours of playing around with it

Heading to Atlantic City on Wednesday for the Borgata Spring Poker Open. I have booked in for 6 nights. 4 comp nights in the borgata(excluding resort fees which works out at $144 total) plus 2 nights at a cheaper hotel off strip. Total stay for 6 nights $290. If I were to also stay at the borgata Friday and Saturday night, it would cost an extra $500-$600. F that. As long as I have a room to sleep in that will be fine. Plus wifi The 4 nights in the Borgata I will make use of the gym/pool. I would like to eat as clean as possible while there. Tempted to buy some leafy greens and a couple rotisserie chickens at the supermarket and have some meals with those :P. Bring some protein bars and fruits/nuts for snacks. Obv will indulge a little in the hotel cuisine but want to keep it to a minimum.

Here's a rough look at my schedule. Will play 2 flights(if necessary) to qualify for day 2 of the milly(with 2 bullets per flight if necessary). It will be incredibly soft so well worth a shot.

Am going to try to sell some action on the Staking>Selling Shares Live thread here. If no joy, i'll just take my own action. Been running super hot lately and a 5k hit to my bankroll will not decimate me so why not? It's a chance at a big score. I promised myself that if I have a winning series that I will go to WSOP this year. It's a lifelong dream and this year seems as good an any to go.

Rough session yesterday. Early on we had 2x satty wins into $109's on global but bricked both after having big stacks in both. Got f3t in a 16.50 5k on ACR for just over min cash. Also min cashed the $33 5k on chico but no dice in late stages. Lost a top 3 stack with 30 left when I just flatted KK vs aggro ep opener. BTN sqz jammed ATdd, opener jams QQ, I snap call KK but we lose it unfortunately. Busted a bunch of satties on ACR. I'm burning some $$$ trying to get into the venom lol. Will try again today.

Had a good coaching session yesterday.

A good start to the sunday grind. Won a $6>$66 satty which i then bricked. Same with an $11>$109 satty. But I do have one more $109 ticket that I can use later. Bricked everything else except the $33 mini starter turbo 10k guaranteed on ACR. Just finished 4/384 for $1000.50 ! That should cover all the buyins for today. I actually stopped regging when I got deep in this so now am just taking a break cause i have no tables left. Might not be the most plus EV thing to do but I don't care. Gonna go out and get some fresh air and come back for a 2nd small session of poker later. Could just lock the win up as sundays can be tough but I gotta get back in the games they are really good.

Finished 3rd in the smallest buyin of the day. A $5 rebuy on global. $137.50 score. We'll take it. Sattied into the $110 PLO on global and bust AAxx double suited vs AAQx on QQXQX board. All in pre. Yuck. Cashed a $22 10k on global also for like 40 bucks. Also min cashed the $33 3k plo on ACR. Bricked everything else on ACR. Bricked the 109 ticket which I used for a venom satty. Bricked the $55 100k. 2 bullets in the $33 60k. Bricked another $33 turbo.

Currently 1 tabling the $33 mini deep nine 9k gtd on global. ITM 11/43. 54 were paid. Just under $2k usd for 1st place. Let's get it.

Do you use only dto? Any courses you watched and liked in mtts?

Hey there. I use GTO Wizard now also. Try and review a bunch of hands. For ICM I need to improve more using holdem resources calcuator. I would recommend BBZ stuff for sure. I used to be a member of training sites but that was over 8 years ago when I last used to grind full time so can't really comment on up to date stuff. I assume the Austrians and Germans at Pokercode are on the ball as is Patrick "Pads" Leonard. Best of luck with whatever you go for!

Busted the $33. Tried one last hyper satty to the venom and bricked $54.50 Last mtt of the night was the $99 15k gtd on global. Got down to the final table 1/8 with $4,024.80 up top.

I get in a spot where i'm on the btn with T9o. 2 regs in the bb have 11bb and 12bb respectively. 3 other stacks had between 9 and 16bb. So 5 out of 8 stacks are 9-16bb. Super tough icm spot for them. I had 40bb and other 2 stacks are 29bb and 25.5bb. I shove and SB calls with A5s for 12bb. I haven't checked yet but i'm assuming this is a massssssive punt. I really felt tilted after he called and won. Anyways we move on and I chip up a little. Still have a slight chiplead when i open AQdd from ep. Best player at the table in bb makes it 6bb(21bb eff). I thought he was just going to have a bunch of bluffs in this spot thinking he has so much fold equity. I shoved and he shows KK. I lose and am decimated. Not sure if this is a punt from me also.

Somehow I managed to ladder to 5th for $1,160. Don't know what way to feel right now. Happy with the result and sunday as a whole but kind of tilted with the way the ft went.

I would definitely have 4bet ripped AQs there, too, for 21bb while having some left behind.

Checked it out. I can shove 65.3% in that spot! Pretty insane. Obviously if opponents are calling too wide (as was the case in this scenario) then I gotta be careful not to go too crazy with it). However, versus 2 winning regs who I assumed were icm aware, then this was an easy shove. Villain in sb is supposed to call A8s+ To be honest I thought it might have even been tighter than that.

Yea the thing is that i'm opening pretty wide given the stack distribution so I'm really high up in my range here. I could ofc have flatted and played in position which is also an option(The flop was Q high though so i'm going broke anyways in this situation but it's worth thinking about). Small 4b click to like 10.5bb and then calling off is a thing. It's something I went thru in my coaching session yesterday. Not sure if it applies in this spot though.

Thanks Captain. I did actually try uploading some photos last week from central park. It was really nice there, the weather was great. But when I try to upload, it says file is too large. So I used pdf file converter to make the photos smaller but still not working. I'm no guru at this stuff so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Just open the image in an image viewer/editor and resize it to a lower resolution.
Just check [x] "keep aspect ratio".
