BTN is a reg who ive been playing 3 handed with for about 200 hands and not been 3betting him much so my range looks strong here pre flop. Think betting flop and turn is standard here and cant check shove the turn with the stack sizes been so deep. Thoughts on the river?

c/c prob best since he's gonna check almost his entire range that has showdown value

doubt he'd be betting 9x, he may even pussy out on betting like KJ since you 2 are deep

tons of busted draws that can try to take the pot down if you check

Hey man,

I play HU not 6 max, so forgive me if my suggestions are off for that reason. For the first hand I actually like a medium reraise on the flop, when he c/rs you. He might be willing to get it in with AJ, KJ, 9 10d, all of which you are ahead. The only other possibilities that strikes me as strong is that he has AA, KK or has hit a set...but you can't live in fear of such things! If he shoves over you, it's a tricky spot but I like a call.

Further, the advantage of a reraise is that if he slows down and merely calls, you can be pretty sure he's drawing--unless he's slowplaying you, but on that board I don't think any opponent would have the confidence to do so, since it's so soggy. As far as the 6 goes on the turn--it's a blank if you really think about it. UTG+1 raise over a limp doesn't have any substantial 6x in his range unless it's 66--which is already beating you. If you were ahead on the flop you remain ahead on the turn.

So as the hand stands (the way you played it) I like a call on the turn with the intention of calling a pretty big bet on the river unless it comes something terrifying, like the 9d.

Second hand, can totally see Fayth's point of view, but not so sure about the river call--depends on his stab tendencies, and I would be very worried about Kx. Hands like 89s, 910s fold to a bet on the river, when they might otherwise check behind and take the free showdown, as do all his busted draws, so rather than let him stab and possibly value own yourself I like a small bet, part-value part-blocker, which will look scary because of the 5s and the straight draw on the board. If he raises, probably fold, but again depends on his aggression. He might even fold KJ if he's a pussy, as Fayth says.

Will be posting some of my own hands for review in a video, if I PM you would you take a quick look at it for me?

Hero... folds

UTG+1 wins $337

So tilting as I got timed out thinking. But shouldn't of even needed to think as I think once I call the turn I have to continue with my hand on this nut blank turn. I spoke to a friend who has played this opponent more than me and he got in a similar spot on a Q high bored and the Villan showed KK so maybe saved some dimes

Its just a spot ive never been in and I wouldnt take his line with any hand bluff or value so it confused me so much

So I was correct to CC as I had such a strong feeling this player would be fearful to value shove KQ KJ, K-10, Think he raises flop with value hands such as 2pairs and sets for stacks to go in as we are deep. Even though I can be CC with big hands he still will not be able to help himself but shove his missed draws to try win this pot. Just a shame he hit the only card I pay him on

Past the $12k mark in my account so can add 3/6 games to my filter now. Looking to put good volume in over the weekend so hopefully have a nice graph to post at the half way mark of the month.

Here is my month so far at the half way point. Put in terrible volume which sucks not ran that well either but sat in some decent games so im up around 9 stacks as I played pretty much all $400nl with a small bit of $600. Grinding hard this week to try get my profits to where they should be at this point in the month.

Aim is to make over $13k usd which is around £8.4k

Bad day at the office. After days like this it just makes me even more sure that I want it to be my last year of full time poker
