I have about a dozen players that play for/through me, so most of the popups are requests for chips,withdrawals,update weekly results players etc.

Week 3 done. +16159

Bro's + 2998 over 43 hours (pre rb) or $70/hr
Ignition +4048 over 84 hours or $48/hr

Global +9419 over roughly 100 hours or $94/hr

Played about 175 hours so far. Sometimes I combined different sites etc so total hours don't add up.

Basically played Friday sessions high on energy pills losing 2k on global and didn't do **** Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Whatever no big deal time to move past the tilt.


First 2hr session is uploaded. Pretty interesting session to start things off with. I'd say that roughly 1/5 sessions on 200nl Ignition are when the tables are very bad, and this one was one of those. Some fish sat but didn't play long so I mainly played vs reg type stats. I also faced far more interesting/weird spots than usual, and far more aggression by regs. Like I said, happens about 1/5 times I think and is not really indicative of the quality of the games of Ignition. Lately they have seemed softer than Globals for sure (It's like the same handful of regs playing 12 hours/day on global)

Marked down a few hands that I will look up tomorrow where I made pretty tight folds, but where I know it's the right thing to do even though sometimes technically you shouldn't fold. If anyone wants to ask me questions about specific spots I will try to answer them. Anyone looking to give me advice on any of my plays, I'm not looking for any input on any strategical aspects of my game.


Up $2 / $160 EV over 614 hands. EV is kind of pointless but will mention it anyway. Sessions RARELY get tougher than this and I'd rate it top 5% most difficult ones I've had this entire challenge.

Just run the 33 hand quickly. 33c is pure call on flop and the turn and river are almost pure bluffs too so pretty sdt play by opponent there. Your combo seems to be pure call so actually even higher EV bluff from oppo if you over fold river.

Sorry to hear this. Talk to him again, explain to him that he basically freerolled and scammed you if you don't get paid....there are hand histories from ignition etc you can download and show as proof (and you can make video copy of it etc)...also i think global shows last 30 days of hand histories (but you'd have to take video of it since obv no huds). Even if you ultimately dont get paid back, by outting him as a scammer, you make it much much harder for him to scam someone else. And almost always people like him have a history of scamming many people. Not to mention any potential employer, girlfriend, etc would likely see your post.

Thanks but this won't happen. I've had many (drunken) very personal discussions with him over the last 2 years, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if this ********** decides to just post some/all of it. Given that I'm somewhat big on anonymity he's got plenty of info that would 'hurt' me.

In addition, you can't go around making baseless accusations without proof, and I snapblocked him everywhere once it became clear he wasn't going to honor the bet , so I don't have the chat recordings etc anymore.

At this point I'm 90% sure I will just delete/permaban my account here once this challenge is over, because I feel like I've wasted a huge amount of my time in the last 2 years with 2+2 (indirectly sometimes by getting scammed through people I get in touch with here etc). Once every while I get a strong urge to share my experiences with people and think that it could be mutually beneficial, but then something like this happens and I get reminded that it's all just an effin waste of time.

I have also noticed that recording my sessions is not my thing. It makes me second guess myself and play spots where I would ordinarily not be involved in because I know the GTO guys would get a heart attack. The worst thing for my game has honestly always been talking to people that are theoretically better than me. As arrogant/ignorant as it may sound, the last thing I need or want is advice on how to play. This only applies to online poker btw, I have no issues discussing livve poker MTT hands, which I often do. My specialty is actually Live MTT's and I fully appreciate two-way strategic discussions on anything related to them.

I'm not too arrogant to think coaching/studying the game is essential, but if it ain't broke, don't try and fix it. If my game becomes less solid/my WR goes down, I will most certainly try and look for ways to fix it.

I just found your thread yesterday. Truly sad to see your overall experience with 2p2 as being negative. I think the easiest way is to avoid prop bets with anyone, and delete troll posts if they come up.

Finished challenge days ago, barely played volume after I was accused of cheating(but I was already up about 16k at that point so didn’t need much more). Have had a strong negative emotional reaction to anything related to this ever since it happened so lost all motivation to continue posting.

Will be sending out PM’s to people I promised a 1hr railing session as I don’t intend on breaking my word/promises regardless of my feelings about this whole

I’ve PM’d a mod to delete my account and this thread but I’ll hold off on that until my obligations are fulfilled( it’s possible they won’t do it anyway, which is reasonable).

Final thoughts on this challenge;

I live a pretty isolated life. I grew up in Europe, and all of my friends and family still live there. I currently reside in the US with my wife and adult kids, and we have plenty of social contacts/friends. Someone once told me that if you can count your true friends on one hand, you are truly blessed. When I was younger I used to think that I had more friends than I could count. Over the years I came to realize that real friends are hard to come by. Having migrated away from Europe, this is even more true for me. All of my best friends I have met either in high school or in my college days. It’ is extremely rare to meet people that you could truly consider best friends past a certain age. Sure, you can have drinking buddies and people you socialize with, but it’s usually not the same thing.

I’ve been playing professional poker for over a decade, and I felt like sharing my journey would give me a certain level of satisfaction as well as potentially educate younger players/newcomers. I feel like if I were to be introduced to the poker world today for the first time, all I would hear about is GTO this and ‘games are dead’ that. I wanted to show people that I’ve been hearing this (the games are dead part) for the last 5+ years, yet in my opinion the games are still quite amazing and you don’t need to be a math nerd to do well.

I have met some really good people through 2+2, and have been scammed multiple times. I’ve had previous accounts on here(lost access to one, got banned on another for posting a rickroll when drunk. Never understood the permaban but whatever, well within their rights).At this point I feel very conflicted about continuing to be active here, or to just take some life lessons and never spend another minute on here.

The guy I had the main bet with was someone I felt comfortable enough with to share some seriously personal stuff with, most of it I haven’t shared with others. I initially met him through 2+2 and we just became closer over time. I think one of the reasons I felt so easy sharing personal things with him was because initially he did not know my real identity and confessing my sins/inner thoughts was like talking to a priest. Over time, however, I grew more comfortable and started sharing my real info.

I have been thinking about this conflict with him since the day it started, and it has really messed me up. It has confronted me with the fact that I am way too trusting of people, and should not be that way. Sadly, our world is not a place where you can just wander through naively.

Having said that, I have a really hard time believing that he went into this trying to scam me or freeroll me. He could easily afford to lose the bet, and ( granted it doesn’t mean much to me at this point) he does just not seem like that kind of guy to me. I think that over the years that we’ve been talking, he must have thought that I was a pretty entertaining player and that he indulged me with my tales of degeneracy, but that I am a ome sort of fish.For him to doubt my results despite the fact that I mentioned them more times than I can count, leads me to believe that he never actually thought that I was winning at the WR that I claimed.

This challenge has been a giant fail for me, but with that in mind I still walk away with:

*20kprofit not counting side bets
* the life skill of being less trusting of people
* no longer spending an average of 5hrs/week talking to people who don’t deserve it.

All in all, the EV of spending less time in my future years wasted on certain individuals ( and similar opportunities presenting themselves ) far outweighs the immediate financial benefit of winning the bet and getting paid. So ultimately I guess I should thank him.
