+11257 after day 9... Wow wow wow. Did not only already complete 50%, but went over it by quite some margin. AHEAD of schedule for my '1k a day keeps the doctor away' philosophy
Played (way) less today than other days and only logged about 8hours. Not really a big deal, my daily schedule was just kind of all over the place, and my wife wanted to watch a 2hr 'Masterchef' special. The things we do for love...
Gym is going well, have been going almost daily. Have yet to do legs though. Something always seems to come up. I go paddle boarding on Saturday morning 6AM so definitely don't want to do them tomorrow. This weekend I rammed my knee into a table at like 5MPH so my leg was messed up for days.
Been loading/taking the supplements as intended.
Diet has been pretty loose, but that's acceptable at this stage. My 4 month plan is basically:
Lift very heavy and go high in calories until ~ the end of September. No cardio, no abs, just focus on strength and getting my body to work optimally. I have developed some pretty bad habits over the year, and I know that it's been a very long time since my body has functioned 100% as intended. Don't start cutting before you get to a point where you feel everything is in order (healthy appetite regularly, lifting without injuries,...)
In October I will start adding very light/moderate cardio regularly and some abs stuff 2x/week or so. I will still lift pretty heavy, but I will watch my caloric intake a lot more and focus on eating lean and close to my maintenance level/ slight deficit.
November and December will be gradually adding more cardio/abs and cutting calories/carbs as time passes.
So in a nutshell, eating a caloric surplus until September is done, and then 3 months of a caloric deficit+ cardio. This should probably (if performed correctly) get me to lose about 20-30lbs
I have been thinking about how I can give back a little with this challenge, and I'm playing with the idea of:
1. Doing a live grind on Ignition I guess this is kind of live twitch? Does anyone know if you can legally stream Ignition with stats displayed? I also would just want my screen with no audio(no interest in showing my face).
2. Contacting Global/other places to organize a $500 freeroll tourney for anyone IF I successfully complete the challenge. I think I could maybe talk to them and see if they would want to match whatever I'm willing to give, creating a $1000 freeroll or so.
Something to think about...
See ya!
