Live $1/$2 has been very friendly to me. When should we shot take boys. $2/$5 is $500-$1500 buyin where I currently go when I get days off.
But planning on possibly going to AC during my few days off for the 4th.


Currently 4/4 winning sessions. Missed out on $1300 being card dead vs a woman calling middle pair no kicker $400 Allins with J6o. On QJ57. She also folded in a pot where she was all in for a $400 main and the action was BB who bets out $150 she is already Allin. Insta folds out of turn anyway lol. Then MP folds anyway and BB shows K high betting $120 on a $0 side pot. Game was very good just kind of dead. Guy called a $70 bet yesterday with king high thinking he had Qx for trips on QQJ37.

Shouldn't take much more than 250hrs if your observed win rate is close to actual win rate.

I prob won't wait beyond 10k. Im a little aggressive and like pain. I think $5/$10 depending stacks I might shot take as early as $10-$15k as well. Depends on identifying lineup so it wouldn't happen right away after $2/$5 unless massive heat and game is indeed running.

Might have to make trips up to AC for the $5/$10 at that point. Presuming I'm even a winning player.

Getting partial Tuesday all of Wednesday and then I'm off Friday until like the 6th. I'm going to finally grind out some weekend live poker.

Online poker isn't written off yet, but I'm working so much + live poker is way more enticing when I get time. So I'll probably start to mix in some extra studying on breaks vs grinding 4 tables at a time via mobile. Update on going to the casino on Friday, we got forced Friday for 12 hours. So I'll put plans off until I'm 100% out of the building and can't be forced. Either way boys. We gonna be hitting the tables no matter what very soon. I'm suppose to work 8 hours today and then I'll go grind 5+ live. Then grind again Wednesday presuming I don't get forced today...

Either way, we're very much still in the mix.

Ran bad overall despite winning sessions. Big hands of the day was 55 vs 44 on 549 2 hearts check raising a bet reraise then rereraise jam 3rd folds we hold. $900 scooped

Also 55 vs K9o on 933 board I raise pre one caller. Get donked for half pot. We call 5 turn . They bet half pot I raise it up. Call. River 6 I jam they call K9o no good.

800 pot lost to a flush draw Allin on turn with the nut straight. Nothing too big of note. Just surprising people with hands sometimes makes me chuckle. Bad bad poker is being played live. Variance is real let's see how long we can go with winning sessions. Ran under EV a lot overall.

I need to take some time over the next week and give a bigger update but live poker we are doing well but facing turbulence in bluffs. I think I'll need to adjust a tad and be tighter than I'm accustomed to. Might shot take $2/$5

Online I rarely play but I'm getting back into it. I've been playing more and more 100NL. Withdrew $1500. We're up to $1435 already from $1000 left. We're also very aggro and will mix in 200NL soon. Taking cash aside to put into the live roll.

We're currently at $5300. We've achieved the 5k at a decent pace with low to very little risk of ruin.

Hero has been unlucky a lot but managed to harpoon a whale the other night in a $1000 at pot with ATo aipf at $1/$2 Got stuck early. Happening a bit often. Hero needs days off to grind.

I'm getting a bit of time off and I'm going to be upgrading my car situation during this time and the rest of the time will be grinding live poker. If I run good over the course of my grind I'll likely be shot taking $2/$5 early. I see the play and am very confident. The biggest issue I've seen is seat change happy decent reg(s) sitting on the left. Is what it is, we'll figure it out. Might end up with just the weekend off or I could get a couple weeks.

The past 60 hours have been frustrating in running under ev (still breakeven+)but it's still fun. Either way interesting hands last night are pre-flop 3-bet top 45 OOP vs bad aggro whale AKs. 45

Flop 533 checks through 4 turn checks through river 4 checks to V who bets 90. I snap call. H is good

Unlucky hands being 33 vs QQ on AQ38 then KK vs T9 on T922. Variance is coming hopefully it flows the right way
