Well, yea, thats a solid point. At the micros it may not be the optimal strategy for the reasons you stated. But I will continue mix in short stack play, partly because its good practice for higher stakes, and I can play more hours(as I said before, when im tired and play B-game I can still play short, easier strat etc).
