This question seems to get asked an aburd amount of times, but I will highlight the most important points.
1) I cannot play the game I am very good at. I have not been able to play this game for the last couple of years. I am not able to make any money playing this game, because there are no opponents. This greatly hurts your ability to make money. I have spent a lot of my time waiting around hoping for games, but I am sort of done with just waiting for something to happen that might not even happen (Also hourly is terrible).
2) I live in Las Vegas Nevada. I love my home here, and I really do enjoy living here day to day. This means the only real stakes I can play online are ACR/WSOP. As far as live poker goes, there are not many games running that I would want to play, or have a great hourly in (I am not going to go grind 10/20 at the bellagio). I do play some high stakes on ACR, but again its plo, not HUNL, so I am unable to make much money there (am I even profitable? lord knows). If I wanted to play high stakes online I would have to move countries and I am sick of having to do that.
3) I am confused why people seem to think I am not going to make any money from doing this. I understand that I am not playing for hundreds of thousands of dollars, but I also think people do not realize that you can actaully make good money from twitch. I make money from twitch streaming, I will make 10k from playing (lol), I make money in promoting my brand, and I also make money by being able to promote my training site. I will make money across the board, and I think a lot of people don't understand what the higher end tier streamers are making.
4) I have answered the WSOP vs ACR thing a bunch of times, but I will go ahead and answer it one more time a bit more in depth. I generally prefer to play on ACR. It has higher stakes games for me and I like that. But I dislike the logistics of trying to play there. First, what do I do with my bankroll that is already on there? I would have to withdraw a bunch of money, just to put it back on after, which is a giant pain in the ass. Second off, ACR is operating in a bit of a gray area online. While I am ok playing there, streaming there, I feel like doing a challenge promoting a site that isn't exactly playing by the rules doesn't set a good example. Finally, I know the guys over at WSOP and we talked about me doing the challenge on the site.
Hope that clears up questions you might have.
