Unfortunately Doug had streaming issues yesterday and it looks like today he will not be streaming either. Something about OBS which is the Twitch broadcast software. I suggested he contact Jason Somerville ASAP which at least got some lolz. Hopefully he can get it sorted ASAP and be back in action soon with a better backup plan.

In other news I have turned the free 10$ I received for converting my Bovada account to Ignition, into to 23.46 so far. Thanks for the inspiration DP!

WTF do you need hand histories for when you can watch each and every hand played? In fact, that's the whole point; he's streaming the whole ****ing challenge! Seriously.

That said, he's posting snippets of the daily streams on youtube that - - - once again - - - show him playing actual hands.

Here are the videos from the last two sessions. If you want to see the others, I'm confident that you have the ability to find them on YouTube yourself.

I think you can still learn a lot by just watching him play and think for yourself.

I love his Omaha videos. Every play just seems to be perfect to me lol. This guy is a beast and very entertaining. GL with the challenge Doug.

He's said many times that he streams to entertain people, not to teach. He wants people to pay for him to give out strategy advice via upswing poker. I think the channel is much better for it. I love poker and talking strategy but twitch strat streams suck a big dick.

I decided to put in a short surprise stream becasue of the tech difficulties that left me unable to stream on both Wed/Thursday. I only played for a few hours, but had some brief glorious moments over the $200 mark. After bricking some more sngs however, I fell back to a breakeven day.

A few days ago I got a bit tired of answering the exact same questions over and over again about the challenge. So I put together a little video to answer some of the more commonly asked questions about my challenge.

Today was the day. We got a bit more agro on our bankroll management, and took some hits out of the gate at the cash tables. Nothing too notable, and AK vs AA is the only thing that springs to mind.

We got on the mtt grind after that, and it was plentiful. We made two final tables, and won BOTH of them. All of a sudden my terrible day had turned upside down, and I walked away with 5.5x my starting bankroll.

Could not be more happy about winning this small amount of money. I am excited for the prospects of where the bankroll challenge is going, and looking forward to getting back on the grind tomorrow.

The lead-call with 109o by the other guy on flop of KJx then check down during HU was whack.

That was a great stream, a lot of fun to watch. Even though the humor and fun is there, the patience and sustained focus is always palpable, and a great takeaway for me as a viewer.

I'd disagree. In the regulated US market with small liquidity, getting your hands whatever you're plus EV in, regardless of game type, is essential. Also, we view MTTs as these high variance things, but with the small fields on regulated sites, it's a lot easier to actualize your ROI.

I've done a $20 to $10k "challenge" (aka I took the $20 they gave and ran it up) on regulated US websites, and a lot of my big starters were freerolls and small, late tournaments.

A +EV endeavor that fits within a small bankroll comfortably, when it's hard to find things that do in Nevada online poker, is far from meaningless.
