I really like the new site (more than the previous one), so will keep playing here.
I started using HUD again this month (haven't been using it in 2018). I'll see if my win rate improves much with it. The volume might be slightly lower when I use it, so I'll have to judge whether the extra WR is worth it.
I played 2.234 minutes this month and have been making ~$24/hr, which is almost identical to how much I've been making on the previous site.
I expect to keep making ~40k hands/month till June. After that I should be done with the exams and will start aiming at 150k+ months. I really want to have a $3000+ profit month and am quite motivated to achieve it. July should be the month if everything goes as planned.
Preflop: Hero is CO with T K
Hero raises to $0.40, BTN calls $0.40, SB raises to $1.60, BB folds, Hero calls $1.20, BTN calls $1.20
Flop: ($5) 7 T K (3 players)
SB bets $2.50, Hero calls $2.50, BTN folds
Turn: ($10) T (2 players)
SB folds
Spoiler:
Results: $10 pot ($0.50 rake)
Final Board: 7 T K T
SB mucked and lost (-$4.10 net)
How do they always know?

Hey Slovenian guy!
Thanks for following the thread.
I don't really chat about poker with people since I don't really consider the game very fun. I also don't think that there's much for me to still learn and giving away free info is always -EV. If I want to have fun, I go play Warcraft/Overwatch or whatever. Poker is mainly work for me - a source of income. A relatively interesting/fun game that also makes me money. Any time that I spend studying the game lowers my overall hourly, therefore I avoid doing it needlessly.
I always enjoyed studying the game much more than playing, which was one of my biggest leaks for years.
Since it's April 1st, here's a fun flop 9-bet hand for the end:
Preflop: Hero is BTN with 3 K
CO folds, Hero raises to $0.40, SB folds, BB calls $0.20
Flop: ($0.90) J 3 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.24, BB raises to $0.48, Hero raises to $0.96, BB raises to $1.44, Hero raises to $2.22, BB raises to $3.78, Hero raises to $5.34, BB raises to $6.90, Hero raises to $7.30 and is all-in, BB calls $0.40
Turn: ($15.50) 2 (2 players, 1 is all-in) River: ($15.50) 6 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Spoiler:
Results: $15.50 pot ($0.77 rake)
Final Board: J 3 3 2 6
BB showed 2 3 and won $14.73 ($7.03 net)
Hero mucked 3 K and lost (-$7.70 net)
Actually, this month I had one of the worst downswings since I started the challenge.
But yeah, I'll stop arguing about that 5bi claim, it was probably a bit of an exaggeration
Thanks, it was hard for me to achieve it.
Do you maybe know what happened to Finland22 and his thread?
He called one of the mods pedo and rapist lol.
Got banned 4 good.
But he is getting out of the hospital and will live on his own, will go back to streaming. But not sure if that's good or bad for him, maybe if he manages to quit drugs.
Yeah, that thread was amazing.
It was completely deleted by the mod though. My post count fell from ~960 to 904

Btw why not partypoker? Isn't the rake supergood?
I used to play 50z on stars in 2016 and was actually going to reach Supernova till the end of the year, but unfortunately in July of that year PS stopped offering games in Slovenia due to our new legislation.
You guys are free to check out my past PS account if you want. There were some fun hands as I remember (though my game has evolved since then, so don't judge ): https://www.boomplayer.com/u/erufen+...ds/Most-Recent
There are very few sites where I can still play right now. PartyPoker happens to be one of them, but I don't really have a good reason to go there.
The rake is actually pretty low for me on the site that I'm currently playing on too, since I'm using a special betting size strategy that makes me pay the minimum rake. For example:
You can see in the K3 hand that I bet $0.24 on the flop into a pot of $0.90, which would mean that if called, the final pot would be $1.38 and I'd pay only $0.06 rake (4.3% rake). While If I bet $0.25 instead, the final pot would be $1.40 and I would pay $0.07 rake (5% rake).
I use this strategy pre and postflop, but am not sure how much I actually gain from it. My estimation is, that I make extra ~$0.7 per hour because of it (considering RB) which isn't all that much, but it adds up.
It was a good month. Had one bad downswing at ~27k hands, when I tried playing 1400 hands/hr after a long time. I won't go over 1200 again till I'm 100% ready.
I've also reached 10k+ pre rb profit since the start of the challenge:
Nice results, you´ll get the 100k profit soon. And in an extremely low variance way, as we can see from your overall graph. Any poker goals for the day after? Move up, go for 200k at 20nl, etc?

It's still a bit early to talk about the day after hah. I'll decide what to do next based on what I'll feel will be optimal at that time.
Good luck with your own challenge Fazen!
I don't think that Snowie is a very good/accurate tool btw. It has many leaks and trying to imitate it perfectly might actually hurt your win rate long term. Playing like that at micros might make you a little bit of money, but you likely won't be able to beat higher stakes. It is not even close to GTO and is a terrible tool for exploiting players (which is where most of the money is made). It can help new players learn some fundamentals, but I think that at this point it might just be limiting you from progressing further. Just my 2 cents.

Yes, I think you and all the other guys who are telling me about Snowie weaknesses are right. I have to say it helped a lot in developing a default strategy, as mine was really bad before, and its strategy seems to do really well vs regs (that´s why I love playing vs them lol). But yeah, blindly following it in real games is quite bad for my wr, and I won´t do it. Still no regrets in buying the license, it has its merits.
Are you still playing speed tables or have you moved to regular tables?
I'm still playing speed tables, just on another site.
I really like how on fast poker I can just instantly start playing 1000+hands/hr without having to start tables. It really makes the whole experience much more fun. Ending the session is much faster too.
Sometimes I randomly check the normal cash game tables (to see if any 20nl regs have moved up) and I notice that there are usually only like 8 tables running at 50nl and out of those only 1-2 have a free place to sit in. If I moved up, I can't imagine that I could play more than 500 hands/hr there, meaning that even if my win rate stayed the same, I still wouldn't be making any more money per hour.
I've been searching for a job (mandatory internship for university) for around 5 months now. Kinda annoying how hard this is, even though I'm OK with not getting paid at all. I've tried in 6 different companies already, but wasn't accepted anywhere. They invite me to an interview and ask me dumb questions about my personality, work experience and what I can bring to the company.
I'm a student, wtf do they expect my work experience to be???
"What can you bring to the company?"
I don't know, I'm offering to literally be your slave for 160 hours. You tell me to clean sh*t, I'll do it. You tell me to do your job instead of you, I'll do it. You tell me to suck your d*ck, I'll f-ing do it. It's as simple as that.
They ended up giving me excuses like: "We've already reached our intern student quota".
What? That's like telling someone: "Sorry, I can't let you be my slave because I already have too many slaves".
I don't get it, honestly. It would actually be super +EV in my country to open a company that would only employ student interns. You'd have people working hard for you, making you money, and you wouldn't even have to pay them. There are limitless amounts of students also, so it wouldn't even be a problem. There are new ones every year.
Anyways, through connections I finally managed to get it. I'll be working for 160 hrs from June-July and be getting paid exactly $0/hr (which I'm cool with. I was thinking of offering companies 200-500€ to have me).
I also have the last two exams next month so the poker volume will probably be even lower than in May.
Some hands:
One of the few hands that I managed to win in the last session. Was targeting exactly AK pretty much, and I can see him hero calling even that (with Kh).
