Alright, time for an update.
I spent the last few weeks hitting up some studies, getting my life into a better routine as well. I felt like being new to omaha, I needed a prep time to get myself ready mentally and also in terms of understanding the game so I'm going in with some game plan. I got the hud set up, gone over some ranges (which i'll definitely need some time to get adjusted to coming from playing holdem for so long). so im ready to start logging in some hands.
I jumped into some 2PL, tested out the player field and i played some 5PL and it doesn't feel too different. at some point the stake is just too small it feels like im just playing free-money. but yea i jumped to 10PL and try out the player field, and i felt like this is a good starting point both in terms of player strength and monetary amount.
There have been some change of plan during this month though , I got offered a great opportunity and unfortunately I wont be able to commit as much time to logging in hours in poker as i'd like. I just turned 37 and I got responsibilities and bills to pay haha. but I really do want to keep this blog going. I figure I can still log in hands whenever I have a day off here or some free time there. Originally I was thinking of logging in about 10,000 hands per month. I did want to start playing just single table so I can focus more on my quality of play. now im not sure how much time i'd have to play. hoping I can still log in 2500 hands at least. we'll c how that goes.
So far i've logged in 800 hands so i guess i'll post result graph in some updates. I'd also note any interesting hands if i feel is worthy of sharing. until then chow Outsideee
